One can a secret leak
While one didn't dare speak
All over seeming weak
But could fight for a week;
At a weakling not spit
But against A Camp fit
Live as needy prophet;
Starved eyes not on profit...
One can drop Bad Habits,
Yet much linked with their bits;
Record a lot of hits
But of Bob's Scattered wits;
Complete assignments fast
But later take The Last;
Meet a friend and walk past,
Friend dead, flag at half mask.

Dedication to our fallen four Victoria Police....
The flags are at half mast
The flags are at half mask today
For four fine officers lost in duty’s say
In silence now we all stand
As grief for them and their families demand
At each muster we bow our heads
For these each one of our honoured dead
Rest now in peace a hero’s slumber
For you have joined our sacred number.

Puzzles come in many forms
setting the mind to always ask
what's the meaning of this query
realising your brains on half mask
Once you get the mask off
then you can start to think
setting the mind to dig deep
hoping it doesn't take a blink
The mind is a strange creature
taking one round many a bend
through it's many twists and turns
rights and lefts will it send
It's always nice to get the answer
especially when it's so correct
all the work has proved worthwhile
these grey cells just need to connect!

A handsome man, dark curly hair.
A specialist. He smiles again
and then his face
under the white half-mask
begins to peel away.
“But I didn’t come,” I say,
“for me.”
