My husband is over protective.
Less stress is his doctor's objective.
But with two teens at home,
Always on the damn phone,
"Let go" isn't always effective!
My teen daughter is always respectful.
But with chores she is ever forgetful.
Leaving notes doesn't help,
So I tried Grampas belt,
Now we laugh on the floor as we wrestle!
Too many pets with too many holes!
What goes in them from their cute pet bowls,
Comes out of more than just one,
If I don't clean it's not done,
Making me ill seems to be their goals!

Gorillas grow growly gruffy grouchy grampas
Giving grateful gremlins grassy growth plates
Glassy glistening glowing glaring glimmers of globes
Groovy grizzly gristleworms gracefully grifting grandmas
Grandiose grimlets grabbing growling gracious grates.

If roses are red, violets are blue
Why then haven't I found you?
Or is it just as simple for you
To find me with love that's true?
Does Gramma, Grampas love still exist?
Todays love fails to resist,
Temptations of greener grass pastures...
Though I feel robbed by true love
My heart still beats,
For a Prince to find me
To sweep me off my lonely feet.

The magic of a grandfather, pulling a quarter from your ear.
He tells a scary story,With a soothing sort of fear.
Elation fills the childs' heart as Grampa opens up the door.
Gingerly, the brother skip across the cold linoleum floor.
Righteously, He pick us up, one in each strong arm.
Alternating kissing cheeks; His touch would keep us warm.
Majestically he puts us down; and strokes his long grey beard.
Paternally: he kisses Moms' forehead; boys think that that is weird.
Again his aura shines our way: ' Who wants Ice Cream.
I will always love my Grampa, in life and death and dream.
Satisfied He loved us, as much as we loved him.
Tomorrows' tomorrows our love will never Dim.
Idolize your Grampa as long as he's around.
Live your life as He did, goodness shall abound.
Learn the love of generations as Grampas' have always done.
Life goes on day after day: with Grampa having fun.
Obeisance to GRAMPA MARTIN and those before and after.
Values given to grandchildren: Love, Joy, and Laughter.
Eternally.
