Premium Member Innocence Abounds

Not me nor I sure to have an alibi
if I am lying than I am trying
To be as honest as circumstances show
Stretch the facts as truth as posed
not guilty for my innocence abounds
Trust evidence scarce but profound
All and all all is the same
Might, maybe, sorta looking sad
facts lean fiction, good looks bad
What ever is can not see
the case is muddle let me be
Plead doubt as justice shouts
innocence abounds with lack of clout.

Premium Member It Ain't Easy Being Humble

If there's one thing to remember as you travel life's highway
We're all made of the same stuff
Bones, skin, hair, and smashing good looks
Oops sorry, not everyone is blessed with good looks like this dude
Mummy and Daddy's genes combined
For an extraordinarily handsome specimen of male virility
Had to fight the girlies off with a big stick
I know, I know, shouldn't be complaining... right!!!
Some of us just have to endure these minor inconveniences
Hollywood movie stars have much the same “problems”
Have to admit, at first it was very flattering
But that soon wore off and it's now quite a nuisance
Having to sign autographs every time I step outside the door
Guess it's the price us over the top handsome folks have to pay
For the adulation of the adoring throngs
You may ask, “IS THIS GUY SMOKIN' UP?”
Sure sounds kinda whacked out to me, I must say!
Aww! But he's got such a sweet heart
Hang on, hang on, I'll soon be back to my humble self again
I'm sorry... it ain't easy being humble you know!
My tongue's stuck in my cheek!

Premium Member Beautiful is the Beholder

"Good deeds are more important than good looks."
The proverb was first recorded by Chaucer in 'The Wife of Bath's Tale' (c. 1387)

You saw the beauty past her scars.
You looked inside her fragile soul.
You cared not for the angry wars.
You sought the good the battles stole.
You sang with angels through the stars.
You set compassion as your goal.
You took care when you consoled her.
Beautiful is the beholder.

Premium Member Holiday fun

              Spry Little Elf

A lonesome but spry little elf
Was sad she was still on the shelf.
So she clambered on down.
Headed fast into town
A boyfriend she’d find for herself

The first pub she found had a party
Full of guys both handsome and hearty
She wasn’t a floozy
But she could be choosy
And wanted a guy rather smartly.

She danced with an elf name of Fred.
Who’s good looks went straight to her head
Invited him back
And way down the track
There’s three on the shelf, enough said.

Premium Member Unconscious Bias

Unconscious bias, an interesting subject indeed.
While I would never be biased, allow me to proceed.
Bias is experienced by dummies, crazies, and kooks.
Not something that would apply to someone with my good looks.
When you give me new information, I just throw it out.
I know what I need to know. The rest I can do without.
But I'm open-minded, to your idea I'll attach
merit, if, to what I already believe, it's a match.
I do not like to bother myself with data and stuff.
I already know most everything. Isn't that enough?
Did I hear someone rudely interrupting? Was that you?
I'll kindly ignore it and continue to tell you what's true.
It's so wonderful that all of us in this great nation,
like me, have achieved such enlightened civilization.
No sir, not one of us suffers from delusions.
Unconscious bias never results in illusions.
Yet, why is it that I reach the dreadful conclusions
that political debates will lead to contusions,
and there will be a rise in demand for transfusions?
No wonder I live in seclusion.

How beauty should be spelt

Dear! How beauty should be spelt,
'Cos deep in all hearts, you are felt,
Many oceans crossed for your sake,
Your goodness isn't a mistake,
So, your sweetness, all feet it swept.

All stony hearts, your beauty melt,
To your love, angels gently knelt,
Praising your cuteness, all partake,
Dear!

In your heart, true love has best dwelt,
Good looks your face wear with a belt,
Your birthday, keeps my mind awake,
From here, on you, my love I pelt.
Dear!

IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY

Let your remaining joy locate you now without any further delay,
Even if more success and more prosperity have to join in a fast relay,
The goal is that all the best things of life should find a way to where your head every night lays,
God is in firm control of your life so 'nough of any trouble placed in your life to waylay.

The mirrors are blessed with a peep in of the elegance of your good looks,
Your infectious smile is comely like food cooked by a good cook,
Your intelligence is ever pleasing as if it was learned from a best-selling book,
Your wisdom brings joy like when a fisherman caught a big fish by his fish hook.

Good fortune seems to know the best way to your home,
But it has never come without showering you with blessings of its own,
You have given success so much joy that you have stopped it from all its aimless roams,
No wonder, your greatness is the pain that causes your enemies a deep moan.

Let then this your birthday bring you more joy,
May it fortify you more to overcome your enemies' evil ploys,
As babies take delight in playing with their toys,
May you also have a lot of pleasure in savouring successes that never cloy.

Premium Member A Real Enigma

Well, here we are at the start of a brand new day
Who knows what exciting new things lie just ahead
Will I win the Lotto?
Might have had a better chance had I bought a ticket
Will a long lost friend suddenly reappear?
Not likely since he passed away a few years back
Will I regain my youthful, debonaire, good looks?
Did I ever have them?
Dreams can be so realistic at times
That when we wake, it takes us a bit of time
To clear our heads and get back to reality
Have you ever tried remembering a dream
How frustrating is that
You know it was filled with joy, laughter, and good times
But can't remember it no matter how hard we try
Strange but so very annoying
Sure would be great to continue on where we left off
The mind... a real enigma!

Premium Member True Beauty Comes From Within

Only a few have touched my soul
But those that have made quite an impact
I'm talking about the sweet women here
But some men do also attract

Some male athletes can surely impress
Their charisma wins the day
But it's the ladies to whom I'm referring to
Residing here in our cyber café

Don't have to possess stunning good looks
Warm hearts score bigger with me
True beauty they say comes from within
Which is what I've found it to be

What amazes me is the number of sweeties
Here in one place at one time
Guess because there's so many on the site
Is why I have love on my mind

Premium Member I've Learned To Live With Perfection

Nobody's perfect but I'm pretty close
Don't usually brag about my prowess
But sometimes I just get so overwhelmed
My enthusiasm for me is boundless

You may be annoyed by my constant bragging
But when you're as perfect as me
It's almost impossible to let it go unnoticed
Must share my perfection with thee

It's sure not all fun and games living up to
Such standards I've set for me
Got no one to blame but my own desires
For impressing all you ladies, indeed

Afflicted by charm and stunning good looks
All my life, it's been quite a struggle
Living up to the standards I've set for myself
But I've really tried to stay humble

I am what I am, there's no changing now
I've learned to live with perfection
Not everyone's able to handle such a burden
It's a serious incurable infection

(WHAAAAAT?)

Premium Member The Prettist Cowgirl Anyone Had Seen

She was a sweet child born in Soyhern Texas
Some time in 73
Her Moma was from Alabama
Her Poppy from New Orleans
A cheerleader and local beauty at 17
Some folk say around here
She was the prettiest girl they'd ever seen
And she knew it
And with a smile and a certain look
She could get anything
She'd need
And she played it by the book
Could drink anyone under the table
When the cowboys rode into town

Soon she grew and padded filling
Her curvey body
in her midriff blouse
And tight blue jeans
Long blonde hair
And a cowboy hat and boots
Boys would follow her everywhere

A cowgirl at heart
Country music in her blood
Sang like an angel
Played the guitar like nobody else could

Well she got too big for her boots
And her hat
Could do anything she'd please
Had the most amazing body
Man and boy would have loved to touch
And boy did she tease

She thought she could hang on to
Her body and good looks
Without a doubt
But she got older

Everyone moved West
But she was going south.

Premium Member Actor, Singer: Rick Nelson

He was renowned for his good looks
when I met this young man,
--at work, admittedly, gadzooks!
'Twas about four a.m.

He was one with lots on his mind
arms on the desk, leaning,
offered water, but he declined,
now face to face, smiling.

His thorn, a Hollywood idol,
a while will be a pain
hand fanned me close, his truth was told
till he boarded a plane.

Soon nineteen-eighty will then square
I know what's coming next ...
suite keys for this one-song wonder
plus for his replaced ex.

His family are known figures,
both his mom and his dad,
and his older brother, and him
too! Pointless 'Want Ad'.

Premium Member Brother Keven

Brother Keven
It is cool having a brother who could pass for a famous Hollywood actor. He never did take his good looks to Hollywood and I'm sure his wife is glad of it.
Keven is fun to hang out with, his smile and laugh say as much, just ask his son.
Keven is notorious for telling a good story and many a night he'd regale his friends with a few.
Keven will take on a good challenge and careful you bet against him.
Keven is the man to lend a hand when something needs a fixing.
Keven is the friend you want by your side when you're down.
Keven is the kindest and most sensitive guy you'd ever want to know and you can tell him from me I told you so.

Premium Member Dame Tamer

Someone had called him the Dame Tamer.
Rugged good looks made him no shamer.
Alone, he wore a pink rose
and a gold ring through his nose.
His close friends knew him as a flamer.
