graveyard ghoulishness
an assortment of gray gloom
callous cold and hard
1/
Sounding too easy
And too dangerous!
What by one leap of faith
Was proven; that's all.
'To live free is to live up
To one's potential'.
Self talk, encouraged
A world of doubt, by.
And a fear-world's. Your worst foe!
Friend, play deaf to it.
This air, so denied of, is
Death to one's spirit.
2/
As night succumbs to its fate
Heart, re-born, the day is come
To sing of your own in
A changeable faced world's bright,
Benevolent turning.
Fear alone made it ugly!
Now this ghoulishness has cleared.
With that fog of despair.
Ere looms as a haunting thought
Forgot as a nightmare.
On this creepy Halloween night
I was mauled in a hellish fight
My bloody neck filled me with fright
A vampire's bite A vampire's bite
Gruesome ghosts floated in midair
Their ghoulishness gave me a scare
Trembling with fear and words of swear
I cursed a pair I cursed a pair
A full moon appeared in the sky
Signaling that soon I would die
I heard howling very close by
A werewolf's cry A werewolf's cry
Was bitten by a rabid bat
My eyes clawed by a screeching cat
Thrown in a witch's brewing vat
And that was that And that was that

gross ghoulishness
a feeling of horror
gravestone rolls over
The house was bedecked in orange and black,
the costumes all ready the candy all stacked.
The children were anxious,
eyes painted and masked.
The ghosts came floating,
I was aghast.
From all different directions,
they came screeching past.
So loud and so quick !
They came at me so fast !
I wanted to run,
to get away from it all !
But it was only the children,
from the Halloween Ball.

The ghosts and the goblins are running the show.
The trickers and treaters are here now you know.
The mystery of darkness, the howl of the night.
The shroud of ghoulishness causes the fright.
The harvest of souls out of the tomb,
Out of the darkness, out of the womb.
All Hallows Eve on the horizon.
Nightfall, night watch, how surprising !
Pumpkins aglow, witches alight.
Bats fly by, what a spooky sight !
Spiders and webs and monsters and such,
I bet you couldn't tell
that I like Halloween very much !
