Amazing Grace how sweet the sound
Harmony of Heaven
Spiritual tact
A Soul rose and soared far beyond the eyes to see
Beyond loving hearts
Pearly Gates a wait
Accompanied by a Driver, White Horse and Carriage
Pure and Secrete
Onward to everlasting life
Every horse Gallup establishing every step walked on Earth
The pain and anguished confronted
This was Ms. Evans hour to shine among
The many that passed before her
Three Doves flown in the sky of her life she lived, ‘PEACE, FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE”
Winds of her spirit
Concrete and devoted
Ms. Evans Legacy will live on, but Heaven will be her home in continued roam
Home at last
Stay strong family
Cry not
Just embrace in how my life encouraged and influenced you
No more pain and sickness
I have conquered
Let my life reflect in how we are supposed to live
Love one another
My tomorrow came at the right time
Too my husband, Joe Evans I leave behind, we will see each other again
It is not goodbye, but until we meet again
I have been welcomed in Heaven
I will be sitting high, but observing below
My journey is complete
My work is finished
Love you all
God bless now and forever.

Shaped by and for wind
the free flowing mane
timetables share in
the horses of the plain
Gallop trot sprint unfold
climbing breezes oblivion
stoney story is told
sculpted in black obsidian
Herds mighty now stampede
on hooves brittle exposed
o’er rocky ground to succeed
the grasses’ tufts unimposed
Crashing prairie like thunder
wet glowing shape in steam
gathers around from under
yellow eyes black night scream
reflecting the tapetum lucidum
moon spreads across the fields
rulers of their night kingdom
the fruits of what they yield
The form speed and shape
lend the horse it’s prizes
furiously charging escape
from predators’ disguises
meant to be free forever
no man upon its back
mysterious and clever
evading animal attack
strength outward haughty
curving muscular weight
tall thin legs almost scrawny
belies it’s gentle gait.
But lightning they race
in full sprint together
dignity and grace
sans saddle or tether
Free as the rain or sun
their beauty intelligence shares
meant to gallup and run
no fences our world in theirs.

The equestrian climbs
atop the painted colt.
Avoiding a saddles restrictions
she rides the horse bareback
to combine their energies,
making them as one.
The thoroughbred begins to trot.
Gradually increasing the pace.
Each step, each movement
becomes an extension of the rider.
From trot, to canter, to gallup.
As the thoroughbred reaches
it's instructed gait,
a feeling of freedom
arises within me.
Feeling free, like an eagle
in flight as he soars high
across the azure sky.
The rhythmic gallop
of the horses hooves
like a hypnotists metronome,
puts me into a restful, relaxed state.
The scenery blurs
as the speed increases.
Our destination quickly draws near.
From gallup to canter to trot
our time together comes to an end
until the next time we take a ride again
take care my dear, equine friend.

Racing the dark from Albuquerque to Flagstaff
old questions trailed behind me
The highway marked with broken dreams
of searchers long ago
As Gallup filled my rearview mirror
the sun reached out and grabbed me
My last horizon dropping fast
—the finish line aglow

Walk along a fearfully tight rope sign a signature,
Hate but love your job like a cast of a shadow of a doubt,
Win a lottery ticket but in effort's of taxes is it a single,
Signature void of time pity a thought,
Line, mass, and single digital where is the carry of a phone,
Love, care of a tear did one pay tithe of offer full heartily,
What is the shame or the Gallup of risking to occasion,
Voice, thought, ambition where time to say grace,
Take a moment of time out for one self,
To digital to enhance characters of one self,
Grace among the heaven,
Full heartily accept as a man,
What doubt in one person mine is something else,
A prayer to reach the heaven set a path for the.

THE PONY RIDE
I'm going for a pony ride
to gallup through the countryside
and if you'd like to ride with me
I'm sure there's bound to be
a pony just for you.
I'm going to the county fair
and we can ride our ponies there
if you'd come to the fair with me
I'm sure there's bound to be
a pony just for you.
I'm going riding all night long
within my dreams, please come along,
and if you dream this dream with me
I'm sure there's bound to be
a pony just for you.

I am now addicted to poetry soup.
Not because of its comments and
contest,but because of poetry's truth.
I enjoy sharing with you poetry's soup.
In a cold world full of lies and truth.
So every day in poetry soup
i mix peas,carrots,fleshy words,
scallops and on my poetic write
for all of you i Gallup.
From the top of clouds,i drop poetry
soup.Hold out your bowls and catch
your poetry soup.I cook poetry for you
and not for my self.
On these moving clouds i shed poetic music
and in your heart i hope you can use it.
In this poetic world i hope you can use it.

I will not be dismissed as a dunce,
lumped together by Gallup or Luntz.
I will get out and vote
without need to emote
and defy every pollster for once.

Merman in a tide pool
Mermaid of my mind
Gallup me unicorn
Center my centaur
Mysticism in myth
Is it real?
Not now, but maybe before
Once a unicorn
Today I canter
Towards my destiny
Now a maiden
Washing her hate away
In the waves
Roll me tight, ocean ******
Salvation is in your frolic
Saturate my satin bodice
Salt me in your water
I, in your liquid folds
You, Mother Ocean an envelope
of movement
Crade me to serenity

As I gallup my steed
amongst towering elm and snowy birch
jump hurdle like equestrian
over fallen cedar and trickleling brook
in urgency I ride return
bursts of wind the sod does fly
'neath thundering hoofs from spurred flanks
my hard charger senses my determination
My lady fair, why do I think of you so
why does yesterday crowd my mind
my heart does so ache with expectation
I ride blood rushing madly
oblivious of such dangerous travel
thoughts of you like vision mirage
dangling in front of me
the faster I ride, the faster you run
my head lowered on windblown mane
behind the snorting steam of steed....
I ride my lady...my fair maiden

The nights were long
and my days seem short
had to do something
so I left my port
A one-way ticket
on a greyhound bus
a compelling journey
inner feeling must trust
first stop,Durango
high in the Rockies
a couple of days hiking
loud thunder was shocking
Next stop,was Gallup
from here,began my walk about
unsure of destination
first step began my route
Halfway to nowhere
dropped my load,to look around
sensational insight
revelation was found
Looked back toward beginning
so distant,out of sight
looked ahead for the end
no end to my flight
Sort of like life
past and future,uncertain
adventerous journeys
once removed from our curtain
continued my walk
through the mountains of Arizona
amazing sights
spent the night all alone-a
Under a canopy of stars
cool evening wind
no city lights
a universe with no end
Infinity came calling
understanding to follow
somewhere hides destiny
heartsongs sung hallowed.....
