In solitude you control
what you do when,
for how long, and why.
You have time-out for contemplation
to muse on, reflect on, and deeply ponder on
what is happening in your own life, in isolation.
Solitude is you alone, but its not lonely,
if you are your own best friend,
if you have too much to do to miss company,
if you know you need time away to stroll and amble,
to rebuild, re-energise and revitalise
your joie de vivre.
Solitude re-jigs, re-boots, unwinds and de-stresses.
It improves concentration, refreshes.
It boosts productivity and restores control again.
It is selfish, for self, by self for self benefit.
Solitude fosters and fertilises creativity,
allowing it to germinate, sprout and grow.
It is peaceful, and allows peace to be found in quietude.
Taking solitude in, imbibing it,
savouring its morsels, sips and crumbs,
is a soul revelling in solitary confinement.

i did not see you then
i do not know you now
the dark roots of your love penetrate
the white threads of your smile piercing
my turbulent blue veins
your inadvertent presence fruits of notes
exquisite splendour, testimony of chords
closed mouth seems to speak
the secrets of the tormented love
the ignorance of your lasciviousness
your sleeping eyes seem to see
polar stars gleaming in bliss
resplendent white roses
music shouts then eases
into the depth of the sea
rambling down the cobbled pathway of
your altered subconscious innocense
music groans grieves then spread
to the unknown galaxy of my dreams
climbing thin vines twisting roots
the dark leaves tremble then fall
in the entrenched soil of life
the death fertilises sprouts
a new flower is born

Form: I do not know?
Do not make love in me die
Humans exist because of love
It is from the Above
It is love from him and her
I need it to feel a real human
Never make love in me perish
For it nurtures my heart
Only true love begets affection
Fertilises both body and soul
Killing it destroys my emotion
Avoid causing love in me decease
Because real adoration does not lie
Lies are natural love exterminators
Accurate love also agonises lies
Love is a human’s pure virtue
Shun making love in me dry out
For fondness is man’s great tribute
That makes him stronger
For he wants to eschew lies
And so nurture eternal love
