She bade farewell to Prada and Gucci shoes, and said hello to Pucci, and Jimmy Choo.
A love affair that didn’t last, finished by lunch, it was over that fast.
Next was tea at three fifteen, with Mr. Alexander, last name, McQueen.
Soon, he too was ancient history, since she, moved on to Fendi and Givenchy.
What next? I promised not to tell, but I think it’s Canali, Chloe, and Chanel.
The moral of this story? Shop fast, shop hard, and use daddy’s credit card.

Chilling on a Fendi sofa in some Gucci loafers, watching Oprah eating alligator-n-
okra, above my fire place on the wall, I have a picture of me -n- a vulture, I turned
the channel 2 B.E.T., now I’m being entertained by my culture, I want 2 be a billionaire, well I better raise up of this sofa and design me a sofa or some loafers, or own me a network like I’m a Bob Johnson or either Oprah, I know how 2 survive in a room with a vulture, I got my picture on a poster, I’m here 2 revise and better cultivate my culture, I wonder will these same billionaires sit on my sofa and wear my
loafers, and watch me on TV, we will soon see, until then I’ll be doing what I got 2
do, tryna be what I’m tryna be, a billionaire indeed, I just need some sunlight -n-
some water, for I’m already a planted seed.

Buying from the Purse Guy
By Elton Camp
Near our home there’s a shabby store
That we heard had such bargains galore
So we thought it fun if we give a try
To a place that’s named “Purse Guy”
Hundreds of purses hung on the back wall
With surprise, my wife their names did call
Fendi, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior
The place carried these plus several more
At the prices she smiled with great delight
“At the mall, costs of these are out of sight.
I can hardly believe such a reasonable price
For a purse that’s a designer and so very nice.”
With several handbags we walked out the door
And told the smiling man we’d be back for more
The very next week, the store a padlock did get
It seems everything it sold was only counterfeit
Within weeks, the purse bargains of our dreams
Looked bad and began to break apart at the seams
One out of twenty items found in world trade
Are only knockoffs and extremely cheaply made
Buying fake goods we had learned not to do
It costs manufacturers billions in lost revenue
Found a brand name with a price not to believe?
Most likely, some criminals are trying to deceive

The way I want to be loved,
like that suede Miss Sixty pair.
Love me more than satin pumps,
the ones that match your hair.
You worship your shoe temple,
and brush away at the Fendi.
If only your love was vane,
so we could be as trendy.
From Dolce to Dior brands,
there is not one you miss.
Stumbling on your platforms,
just to give me one last kiss.
So much passion you polish on,
wishing I could turn into heels.
Wear me tenderly so you see,
how true love actually feels.
Buttoned up sandals and crocs,
ballet flats you simply adore.
You make me hold them all,
as you organize every drawer.
Now you know the very truth,
shopping makes you complete.
Embrace my heart with kindness,
the same way you do your feet.

Name brand designer clothes: Gucci, Fendi,
L.-V, Versace, Prada, and more. Name brand
things is what she adores. So what ! She can
not pay the rent . It's not the neighbors business
that the lights and water are turn off.
This is why the kids are at her mothers house.
Don't get it twisted this girl is not lazy or crazy.
Her priorities are all mixed up. She claims that
she works a job; that doesn't pay enough.
This girl desires a lifestyle she can not afford.
Her Lexus was repossessed yesterday, and
she feeln' somewhat gray.
She rides the bus without any fuss. Remember-
ing the conversations of her friends. The abund
ance of things don't mean anything . When your
kids go without ; and you're put out of your house.
name brand things are nice in their proper place.

The Lip Gloss question of the day is "What do I know about you?"
Can't really say -- everyday, I see something new.
It could be hat, wig, cornrows, or weave,
Don't matter which, I gotta have me a look-see.
It could be Fendi, Gucci, or knock-off imitation,
Don't matter which, I'm begging for a view with no cessation.
Her moods are so mercurial,
Could be sad, happy, intellectual, silly, angry or attitudinal.
Don't matter which, your presence and aura are always desirable.
You challenged me with the "So you think you know the crab now?" query,
In truth, the Crab's shell remains opaque, still shrouded in mystery.
Of course, I hope I'm in store,
To learn much, much more.
But I sincerely have all I need to know,
For you to occupy a special place deep within my soul.
