Fermented in farenheit the sizzle is way too hot
Creeping up the backside beading up in that spot
Shallow is the pool of fear where the drips do lie
Bashful red is the color skin appearing shy
Shakes tremble up and down bumping up the skin
The color that's coming around derives from the sin
Shame has come without context or so it seems
Reality you visualize nightmares before the dreams
Innocence mirrors guiltiness so sad but it is true
This in which does reflect the real person that is you...

Feeling the Heat
Freezing in the Farenheit of chilled morning air
It's rare to be permiscuous when no one else is there...
The rising sun embraces you such a wonderful pair
Somethings are just too good to offer up and share...
Melting within the Celsius of another place and another time
It's odd to state so candidly what's yours and what's not mine...
Feeling the flames lick your feet by pure wicked design
Offered life to the nasty Being that he even declined...

It's warm enough here
For short trousers
And a tee shirt
Driving the car with the roof down
Eating ice cream (don't tell the wife)
Long walks in the evening
A swim in the sea
Working in the garden
Sittingin the sun
Drinking wine
It's hard to imagine
Somewhere else
It's 10 below zero
Centegrade or Farenheit
And covered in snow
Wind chill factors
Prohibit swimming
For all those without fur
Driving is difficult
With the roof on
Sitting by a warm fire
Drinking whiskey
The mercury reached 104 degrees farenheit today
The masses swelter and it becomes difficult
evne to walk down the street
Yet the city lives on since New Yorkers always stand tall
when it comes to emergencies
A little sun cam't destroy "Baghdad on the Hudson"
Children laugh and play as a man sells flavored ice
Cars pass by in a dizzying display
Workers lift up concrete to build our city
A lone bird flying overhead looks down with pity
at those that cannot fly
Young lovers kiss under the azure sky
Taxicabs race through the avenues
Each statue of a famous man or woman gleams in the afternoon
At the beaches swimmers dive under waves
and try to avoice the rip tide which can overcome their resistance
Let's rejoice
We should be glad to live in a town with eight million others
All taking in the joys of summer
and chasing the urban dream
