I’m learning a lot, dating Peter. For instance, I have a whole new awareness of how clueless older Americans, like people in their mid-twenties, are about things in the modern world.

I think Peter’s learning things too. Like the other night, I was 30 minutes late because I was gluing little, glittering rhinestones to my eyebrows. Was he mad? Yes, we had a little drama, but that’s just because he hasn’t learned to respect my lifestyle choices.

“Don’t be mawkish Peter,” I softly advised him, while fixing the caller of his shirt, “look, let's just pretend that we squabbled over this, and I won?” I suggested, helpfully. “It’ll save us time and WOW, we’re running late, OK? Seeing some small, lingering irritation, I promised, “We can still makeup later.”

The rhinestones looked spectacular, I got a LOT of compliments and in the end, I think he liked them. You know, sometimes I’ll catch him looking at me, like the moon or something, like I’m out of reach.

Guys are so.. (Searching for a word).

Red Days

This disease is so much contagious!

You see it stingy and so terribly delirious.

Tears kept on flowing like a waterfall,

My eyes were trembling like a shaky voice call.

I spent red times on this happiest season.

I couldn't smile enough because of this unexpected treason.

I kept on opening my eyes and I found it so hard,

It’s exaggeratedly too much and I found it so barred.

People tried to avoid me! That’s so much pain!

Were they thinking that I’m viciously insane?

They couldn't stare at me because they were so much afraid,

People were overreacting like a cowardly cat scared.

I woke up on Christmas with one eye opened,

Seeing blurry figures and I was totally frightened.

Guess red days will just turn into dust.

I promise this won’t happen and this is going to be the last!

Eyes of Seminary

Eyes of Seminary – Zamreen Zarook

Every day in our lives has different fragrance,
God give us various things in abundance,
Day by day knowledge is gained in accordance,
Things depend according to the attendance.

Two years of studies,
Helped us to come out with various abilities,
Extremely joyful moments with buddies,
But life said every aspect has its boundaries.

Teachers become very friendly,
They approach us very kindly,
They speak on us exaggeratedly,
Because they know, if not we might behave badly.

Big shots in the school boundary,
These are years of foundry,
It helped us to find and go for laundry,
Marvelous days, fully packed with sundry.

Various angles the kith and kins are civilized,
It’s because our knowledge is enhanced,
Guys and girls turned well experienced,
That’s why we call it levels of advanced.
