Evitable Poems | Examples

Premium MemberBaby Steps

It is what it is,
or is it?
Change is evitable,
Man has flown across oceans on metal wings
and recently ceased burning witches.
Some changes bode for the better
and yet, some bring out the worst;
but there is always change.
China's elite society no longer binds a young girl's feet
to make her look dainty,
and wars once fought on battlefields,
now devastate civilians in towns and cities.
It is what it is,
recognizes a fleeting moment in time
before reality morphs
into something else;
something new.
Change, progress, and adaptability
form the foundational pillars of life.
Baby steps lead the way to giant leaps,
and given sufficient time,
people will climatize to any change.
Despair and manipulation
fuel feelings of helplessness
that often delays but cannot stop change.
Hope, blood, sweat, tears, and time,
are all essential components
that comprise the social papier-mache,
from which change derives its shape.

Firm Devotion

Harrowing melancholy stirs inhibitions
blue is the theme of these abolitions
masterpieces of craft are attainable
drowning the art passage constrainable

Nurturing our thoughts is inevitable
worry not avoidance is not evitable
sudden transformity brings elation
while inhaling metamorphosis at the station

Trouble holds no precedence over desire
learn not to put out the fire
holding remorse hath no dominance
on trespassers with no prominence

Holding on to conviction will allow
for those of us willing to reconcile

E-Fmcg

  E-FMCG

Insensitivity, derogation, defamation, humiliation,
Libel, slander, stigmatisation.
These Fast Moving Consumer Goods,
I’d like to term E-FMCG. Caution!
…
The Media and internet want sensational news.
Reality shows dig for what give mileage.
They want to go viral, need spice and juice,
And Intrusion of privacy is their privilege.
 …
More clicks, more views, more shares,
Means publicity and more money!
Gossip, personal problems, affairs.
What sells best, are these E-FMCG.
…
E for electronic. E for easy.
E for explicit. E for exploitive
E for engrossing, yet E for empty.
E for an epidemic that’s infected our economy.
…
E for exaggerated. E for excruciating.
E for emotionless ego-thrashing.
E for evil; that is very much evitable.
E for this enormous ebon industry.
 …
Entertainment, Entertainment, Entertainment!

Premium MemberThe Clown Who Thought He Was King

There are moments you think that you have everything figured out, although the world around you has spun out of control and you feel that you have discovered the secret, like a scientist finding the complex pattern to chaos.
And then something happens and you are confronted with the knowledge that you are wrong, which flings your world into a tail spin and you are left with your head reeling with questions and doubts and no answers.
You question your existence your value and that throbbing question “What is the ****ing point of it all?”
You feel like a deer in some one’s headlights, which feels like impending doom and you wait and wait for the evitable to end your suffering, but you realize that you are left with the feeling of dread as a constant companion.
One moment you are on top of the world and you have all the answers at your fingertip and on your throne you are a position of supposedly total clarity and with a flip of a switch you are found wanting with only egg on your face, you are relegated to clown status with only the dream of being a king.

If Only

It was...

If only it had been!

Immersed in abstract reality

Conversation
Laughter
Loving

Wanting to reach out and confirm tangible expectations
But instinctively knowing it is an exercise in futility

Because by reaching out,
The spell would be broken
The magic would be gone
Dispersed like smoke in the wind

Leaving be-hind
The bitter-sweet after-taste
Of what is; but is not

If only....

It can be seen with-out the sub-conscious being a catalyst
For a projection that can-not be visualised
With the naked eye

So the windows to the soul with the curtains drawn
Kept imploring to the sub-conscious
To tarry, nay

If only....

For a little while
So some-thing so puritanical
Can be revelled in

But reality...
Oh, in-evitable reality!

Tore in and shattered any illusion of nirvana
Leaving behind poignant memories
To ferry a battered soul over to the shores of dawn

Silent Mind

The silence of one's voice
Very seldom heard
Locked down deep within
One's soul
Afraid of showing any expression
Of feeling
Yet keep his cry hidden deep
Within
Know emotion ever found on
His face
A smile and being the rock for
All to lean
Cry's fill the hole so big inside,
Wanting to burst out with all emotion
Felt
But kept hidden from all to see,
Him being the strong rock to keep
The family togather and safe
Know one notice any pain or any
Change he has made
His mind waving like the wind
But, yet know one ever heard his
Silent cry
Crying out for help to save his
Mind From insanity torment

To fight the insane mind that is
Growning stronger by the day
Silent tears flows so freely
Within
Mind so shatter until his fate
Has arouse just to decline with the
In evitable line of insanity
Has cross
His fate lyies only for his self dismies
Weakening mind cry out for help not
knowning his fate already taken over,
His crys was to late
Silence has locked him within
The walls without an exit
His mind know longer his
Now,
Locked deep down in a pit of
Psychotic state
