A lover and a brother are heavy.
Recounting the contents of life is work.
A vessel holding unaccountable dust
may be volumes for a biographer’s notepad.
“I miss she real bad!”
Whittled words.
Ponderous, leaky expression
surrendered by gross vulnerability,
and maybe a short lexicon.
A lover and a brother
and their handheld tomb,
this wild man pair in tropical print-
cotton tops mirroring loopy island ladies
under pineapple/banana coronets-
standing shoeless upon burning shores,
bearing their dead love,
gone sooner than hope had promised...
fish feed in a jar.

Some people call me Prof
But with laughter round it off,
Some garnish it with cough;
Their loyal but amused hats doff;
Better than to at me scoff…
The most shy cease to be coy,
The heart cruel games would buoy
Shyness in any case some ploy
By he who could with another toy:
By some Ray about to cajole a Roy;
My Prof Nickname, a delicious noise
By a false eulogizing voice
That soon connects a sneeze
Men flee from with “Gees?”

Eulogizing The “Snow Tree”
Written: by Miracle Man
September 14, 2020
It fell prey to a Dozer on a day in September,
it stood many years, too numerous to remember.
A highway project has brought about its demise,
most travelers won’t notice, but that’s no surprise.
Each time I drive past I view this tree, though mental,
this old Elm stood alone and struck me as being gentle.
It provided cows shade from their hot summer grazing,
some would be standing while others lay lazing.
It endured harsh seasons but I remember just one,
of winter’s frost covered branches and a warm rising sun.
I’ve driven this highway for a number of years,
and now that it’s gone, it evokes virtual tears.
But like all things in life this tree outlived its day,
and was just an old tree that stood in progress’ way.

During my pleasant and leisurely morning strolls
Gaze at the enthralling golden shower clusters.
Like to laze near that tree, eulogizing its elegance,
And reckoning how exult was it for its flamboyance.
One awful day a sudden strong gust blew
Making all the glorious and jutting clusters overthrew
I was deeply anguished as it lost its accolade,
Downhearted and stopped going by the promenade
But to my astonishment, within a short span
It was proliferated and got back its erstwhile vision.
When I was gaping at with admiration and shock,
A whisper came, “Pal, I have gained my glory back.”
I have realised no pleasures and pains remain forever
Revamping is the philosophy of wonderful Nature.

Darling friend of humanity come in
Why do you worry, tears rolling honey?
If it is food you need for wrathful act
Just cross over the cool Atlantic waters
You’ll enjoy warm blood, milk and beef
Sweetheart the spouse of humankind
Can you dance to us rhythms of life?
If you can visit Miami, Florida beaches
Raise your eyes over the Alps and Thames
Red carpet reception already arranged
Beautiful queen of follies parade to destiny
Can you make youth sing hymns in reverse?
If elderly can bid good bye to scanty smiles
‘Cause you swing sweet lethal fangs of love
Brotherhood of men cannot sing you lullaby
Corona the car, corona the virus, corona the liar
Why do you play chameleon hide and seek?
If you lure passengers to ride in you but vanish
Then close your eyes and kneel for mercy
Humanity you torment indomitable charges
America is wailing as Europe gathers ashes
Asia is reciting epitaph as Russian throws dust
Africa is eulogizing as Middle East curves wood
Come near brother Corona -19 take this liquor
Your crown of ferocity more beautiful it will be

March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb
— English proverb
Any sign of Spring makes me sigh
— Kim Rodrigues
OUT LIKE A LAMB
pink petals of confetti throng
the Spring tree eulogizing Fall.
snowy buds cling like upraised songs.
March first bleating breaks down the wall
of incessant roaring rainstorms.
the keyboard-roof is fighting back,
the lion napping, seeds perform.
Daffodils give Winter the sack.

Obama Set A Perfect Example
Wish more and better had known Obama
Now we experience a tremendous trauma
And he will be going and no longer here
Into our great country did disappear.
Things to say about Obama sound inviting
Will seeking quite time while he is writing
A book and to me would not be surprising
Him people soon started greatly eulogizing.
Obama's popularity is at an all time high
To him it was really hard to say goodbye
We know that in time which will be ample
For next President set a perfect example.

Life everlasting—
I am anchored by this concrete;
The hands that feed,
And the flowers they bring.
There was a storm cloud I chased in a dream;
Away from the wreckage they try to redeem.
Eulogizing the day they wake,
And death is life’s eternal gates.
Everything tires, yet everything waits;
The poppies left before the grave.
It is well, but all unwell remains.
There is a lie I never forgave:
That there was something left to save.
