I place a great deal of importance on morality
and never will I perceive it as a mere triviality
It is a fine quality I seek when choosing a friend
A virtuous trait, one should never condescend
Those relishing debauchery, I consider unsavory
Surrendering their honor will surely lead to slavery
A bondage that breaks the ethical code of respect
Their sense of morality is in a state of gross neglect

Life can be more than one track,
but none will allow you to go back,
but they help you to learn,
when there’s plenty to churn
inside your mind -
so if you want to lighten the load,
take heed of the fork in a road.
For along any road,
there is ample ready to goad,
into taking a path,
where the devil will laugh
and lead you to despair -
so your future could explode,
if you’re confused at the fork in a road.
Your past might have been a crazy one,
full of quandaries which you did make.
So when it is time for the fork in a road,
it’s you who must choose which one to take.
History can be repeated,
if you are acting conceited,
to the words of a sage,
who can easily gauge
the path you are traveling on -
for their wisdom is a light that glowed,
so stop and think at the fork in a road.
No you can’t go back,
once you’ve taken a track,
for what’s done is done,
but the course you’ve run
doesn’t mean that you cannot amend -
just take your time with the ethical code,
then think about the fork in a road.
Yes think about it …
we all come to a fork on life’s road.
