The curve of your eyes envelops me like a dream,
A tender dance, sweet as honey,
In the halo of time, a basin of peace in the night,
Yet within me remains a memory that never ends.
I look back and it seems I can hardly remember
All the moments lived, the dreams touched,
For your eyes have not always been mine,
But now I find my entire story within them.
The leaves of the day turn into the scent of dew,
Reeds sway in the gentle breeze,
Your fragrant smiles soothe my soul,
Invisible wings carry us along the paths of light.
In imaginary boats, we venture on sky and sea,
Sound hunters in a world full of color,
Springs of dreams nourish us with happiness,
In the tenderness of our gazes hides our great love.
The fragrance of our golden moment is sealed in sunrises,
Resting eternally on the straw of shining stars,
As if the day depended on the innocence of night,
So the entire universe depends on your pure and luminous eyes.
And in my depths, all my blood flows under your gaze,
Like an endless river of love and melancholy,
In every moment spent together, in every tender touch,
We are parts of a story, of a love that lasts forever in our hearts.

Premium MemberWhen silence envelops me, I become a prisoner of such deep calm

When silence envelops me, I become a prisoner of such deep calm,
That I hate the quiet that strips me bare, yet love it all the same.
It strips everything of meaning, people, voices, even myself,
And I begin to see the world through lifeless eyes, as if nothing matters,
As if everything passes in a cycle of which I am not a part, an endless loop.
Emotions seem pointless, noisy and weak, like lost echoes,
I don't want them, I don't feel them, I don't need them to fill my soul with noise.
All I desire is nothingness, to feel nothing, to be nothing, to disappear into the silence
In which the world would drown if we all stopped making noise and tumult.
I don't want comfort, I don't seek healing, only the silence that swallows you whole,
That washes away every thought, every emotion, every name I've answered to,
Until nothing matters anymore, because nothing of what was remains.
It's a journey to a realm where silence is an ocean that gently envelops us,
And where existence is just a shadow dissolving into eternal, mysterious quiet.

Premium MemberI lay down in bed at 9 PM, seeking peace in the darkness that envelops me

I lay down in bed at 9 PM, seeking peace in the darkness that envelops me,
beneath blankets that conceal the burden of a world full of noise and light,
where their laughter and joy intertwine with screams lost in the night,
paper hats flutter in shadows like faded dreams,
cars glide down streets, carrying women and drinkers,
in a procession of fragile hopes and unfulfilled desires,
in the muted roar of time passing mercilessly,
and none of this can dispel the fear that keeps me awake,
for the New Year frightens me with its hollow promises,
and life knows not the rhythm of years, only of moments slipping away,
in an endless dance, an illusion of change,
in a world that counts only the echoes of a single moment.
In this silence, I hear my thoughts flowing like a river of melancholy,
without a shore to embrace them, without an end,
and I wonder where all those years, those moments have gone,
and if tomorrow will bring more than another mirage,
or just another night to hide beneath blankets,
from the sounds that fade but never disappear.

The love and light envelops me

May each of us embrace our soul's path.

The love and light envelops me
By Michelle Morris
04/08/2024

The love and light envelops me
It surges through my heart and soul
Every cell and strand vibrate
With God's blessings pure and golden

My aura speaks it loudly
My colours linked to Heaven
No matter what is happening here
I'm guided by Angel lessons

For I am not from here
I am part of the Universe's delight
God knows how important this journey is
For my soul's development and flight

To soar high and far and free
Fearless and happy and calm
I thank God for every moment I'm given
And pray I'll do way more good than harm

Premium MemberFog Envelops

The fog enveloped early morning
Coating it with a silvery mist
Even the golden leaves 'pon the magnolia
Knew they had been sweetly kissed

Bright sunlight tried to peek through
But the clouds gathered around
Closing off the laughter, tears dripped
Slowly to the damp cold ground

White pampas spikes stood still
As a soldier in his watch
No breeze to move the blossoms
Or the earth adorned wristwatch
