By the early of autumn
my love for you found a way
when leaves were turning golden
with some special enrollment in the air,
The winter dawns
by nipping our fingers
together when we first hold
Our hands together,
The spring dawns
With the chirruping of birds
where we hugged once and you
killed my future with bright colours of your love,
The summer dawns
With the glaring of sun where
The pure glow of heaven was
Seen in your eyes with a summer song of love.....

I found this hand written poem in an old book on the back of an unfilled out Galesburg High School enrollment card. The name Harvey Kemp is written at the end of this short poem.
I found this poem touching and thought to share it. I haven't been able to locate the poem or poet on search engines after a half hour search. If anyone has info plz send.
Thanks
Blind
The spring blew trumpets of colors;
Her green sang in my brain.
I heard a blind man groping
"Tap-tap" with his cane.
I pitied him his blindness,
But can I boast "I see"?
Perhaps there walks a spirit
Close by, who pities me,
A spirit who hears me tapping
The fine-sensed cane of mind
Amid such unguessed glories
That I am more than blind
Harvey Kemp
above rendition is exactly as written.

Enrollment day begins for us
the moment we arrive.
We begin our education
in the University of life.
The subjects taught are vital.
They're stressful and demanding.
They require our full attention,
in our search for understanding.
Lessons are taught over and over,
again and again and again.
And every lesson will be repeated,
until we understand.
No one will ever drop out.
No one will ever fail.
Every lesson will be taught
with intricate detail.
Pride will come to us all
from lessons we have learned.
We'll then walk with confidence,
with the wisdom we have earned.
Choices are what shapes us,
with experience and strife.
Lessons taught are not forgot,
in The University OF Life.
