MYSTERIES OF LIFE

If you look hard enough, you end up finding
There is no (factoid) explanation of life,
but the (enigmatical) poetry of life."

Premium MemberCan I Find Love

I constantly search for it
but it's enigmatical elusive,
hidden in a Mona Lisa smile.
Should I arm myself against self inflicted pains?
Camouflage my feelings with insouciant emotions?
For all my cirrhosis equivocal endeavors,
I manage only to forge a jealous rift,
until fragile truths bring sullen tears.
For God is love, and love is truth.
Had I misused it?
Is that why I can't find it now?
Yet they say that love is beautiful.
Where does true beauty lie?
All I find is veiled secrets,
thinly disguised behind mirthful masks
frivolously worn on carefree Valentine days.
Should in dire despair give up?

Premium MemberMagnetic Attraction of Love

In the serene solitude of your slumbers,
You’ll dream of me forever and ever.
For there, with my enigmatical looks,
I’ve been haunting you
From the first day you’ve seen me.
You have so often wondered at that look
that draws you to look so intently in my eyes.

I see you watching in the shade
Of that lovely gazebo in the garden.
You try to focus on my soulful eyes,
I notice your intense use
Of your make-ups of your black dark eyelashes,
Yet it is that exquisite pearl necklace that I love.
It draws all your wanton attention.
You look at a large diamond ring
Flashing it in the filtering sunbeams.

Oh stop looking at these gaudy trifles
Nor must you concern yourself about me.
Just look into my mesmerizing eyes.
Concentrate on my face all lit up,
Admire the light on my sweet kissing lips,
And don’t dare compare them
To that aloof Mona Lisa’s smile.
One day, when I’ll come to you
In the serene solitude of your slumbers,
And I’ll show you how a kiss should be.

Egg Sandwiches With Cress

A two ton carriage truck is not a kind thought. Dumping diesel doesn't dignify dresses. In a line it is imperative that the role of the dutiful is to parade in a saintly fashion. Squashing lemons in a leather shoe should only be attempted in bright moonlight. Calling to pregnant whales is always wise when painting a small fence as it induces kindly rainbows. Chairs are neither neutrality placed or could it be said that combustion could power a seat. A throne is slightly overrated and large blocks of wood worm brings a very enigmatical beaming hue. How quite great. Demagnification xxxx z

Elemental Memoir

A fathomless mystic charade
How alluring its serenade
Witness nature’s own masquerade
Mystique that cannot be portrayed
An entity most have betrayed
A spirit that must be obeyed
Awakened reflected cascade

Diaphanous and chaotic
Performance beyond hypnotic
Earth’s coryphée of erotic
Mistaken to be quixotic
A creature forcing psychotic
Its soul the purest narcotic
Intimate of all aquatic

Enigmatical their affair
Foxtrot brimming with debonair
Elementally torn despair
Amaurotic and unaware
Of essence’s lifeblood they share
Their fable ready to ensnare
Romance between water and air

Why

3 o clock in the morning
Words wake me in my sleep
Take my pen and begin to write
My thoughts are way too deep
Why can’t everything be black and white
And not that cloudy grey
Why is there no rhyme or reason
Why is that things turn out
that same predictable way
Why is it always a matter of time
Why can’t it be now
Why is life such a pantomime
The villains, the dames, the silly cow
Why so complicated and enigmatical
Nonsensical to an open mind
Will it always be just around the corner
Why is true love hard to find
And when you find it
Is love really blind.
