Like To Look

Sometimes, people catch me staring
Daring
Sometimes, I'm caring
Often, I'm scaring them.

When I was young, looking out a window
I asked my mum why people looked at me so
She looked at me, taken aback
Sarah, she said, it's because you're looking back!

I guess I just like to look.

Which Ledge Do You Allege By Phreepoetree

WHICH EDGE DO YOU ALLEGE?

I never claimed to be your teacher
You want to learn s**t go to your local preacher
But when you enter his sanctuary don’t make any noise
Because he may be having sex with one of the alter boys

I never claimed to be your guru
I only taught and repeated exactly what you knew
You followed my example and don’t blame that on me
You had a litany of ways to say no but you thought I could set you free

I never claimed to have a method of any god damned use
My method was a lie and a weapon to protect myself from human refuse
While you allowed me to lead you into the garbage dump of waste
Where people like us come to play with other people who are all two-faced

I never claimed to know what you or I should do
And I never claimed that I’d even care for you
I took no oath, no vow, no promise or predetermined pledge
Only you chose to follow me. just like a lemming, to the edge

Doctor Superhuman

I watched him step into the walk-in closet
Don’t know what he does, inside there
But out steps a beautiful man, dressed and prepared.

He saves people everyday quietly in his way
They all know his name day to day
And I think I know his missions of play.

This man is a super human, by right
With the ability to change, at the night
To save me, in my dimmest of light

Others are portrayed, like Batman, like in Superman
And they are all viewed, having the same plan
Disguising only hiding what they think they can

If only people knew what this man could do
We would all be so brave, also as a rule
To call out his name when we are nearly through

I watched him step into the walk-in closet
And yes he saved me just the same
With his beautifully featured frame.
