Like a termite eating willow oak, Herod felt empty.
Fear of the threat of dethroning Brim-filed abundantly
Could a little lamb invade the den of a lewd lion?
Could a rod of reed face the force of a pole of iron?
Like a mad monkey, Herod scattered fragile eggs and nests.
Troopers cut kids to pieces, pulling them from mothers' breasts.
Weeping and wailing tore the veils of the night of Ramah.
Who could consent to be consoled by Covert’s crude drama?
Wanting to know you, the unknown hero, they were born
Before seeing their hero face-to-face soon they were gone.
Had they seen you, their friend, wouldn't they have reviled Herod?
Was this why the coward, like a wounded jackal, worried?
Little humans, destined for eternity, were slaughtered
Wasn't this why roots and routes of law to love got altered?

You’re lifeless, listless, sleeping all the time
Believe me, this was no victimless crime
You cooked all of his meals and cleaned his house
You surely deserve better than this louse
Raise your hands in thanks that he didn’t stay
The brightest path to healing is to pray
Buy yourself something special – a new dress?
When someone asks you to dance, just say yes
It’s time you planned a Caribbean cruise
Vent through poetry; awaken your muse
Lean on your friends, we’re always here for you
Come with us, have some laughs, we’ll pull you through
Should you see your ex walking all alone
You’ll know this would-be king has been dethroned

Four days
Its has been four days of turbulence,
That as contorted my mind
Trying to express the problem that hunts me,
We sin and sin,
But which one is amiss,
Lie,Steal,Kill,?
Please show me the mystical scale that weighs sin,
Giving us the power to judge,
We walk these corrupted streets,
Passing one another,
Oblivious that we are looking through a mirror
How different are we?
Sinner from birth but somehow we become separated,
Why does my sin goes unnoticed but his goes to trial?
Now we decide when judgments comes,
Deluding Gods voice ,We strive for control,
Banishing who we please,
And Mercy on Those who stay,
Dethroning who is unworthy,
Betrayer our brother and sisters,
Why are we so Lost?
Please can my question be answered?
Are not all sins equal?
If not show me the rubric,
Why is the sin to lie normalcy,
But to Steal an anathema,
Four days I have been lost,
Trying to understand the weight of sin.
