Premium Member A Surgery

Every writer's work
a soulful surgery

we draw from mysterious
substance, submerged man's core
in fluids indefinable – amniotic sea of source
buoyant, yet only mistily determinable, unknown
were it not for subtle leaking

sort of a chill, in search of its draft

a stutter, keeping its voice from
apparent reason

how can I truly love
my God! my Christ!
when trapped on a page
with a pen pressured down
mostly always printing in
favor of
self-serving
human treason

Premium Member Divine Seamstress

As timeless as a goddess,
I shall go forth and manifest
A life in which I feel most blessed.
Always do my best, no more, no less.

While clothed in the loveliest spectral dress,
My spirit wields the most radiant cosmic power.
A future determinable by the stars alone is for cowards.
I am a goddess which reigns even when in distress.

As shameless as a rebellious princess,
I shall always pave my own path.
Though nothing in this life is truly ever meant to last,
I will be someone who makes an everlasting impression.

While I wait for the world to further progress,
My spirit shall emulate the magic of the Zodiac.
A future can only truly ever be determined
By the will and craft of I the Divine Seamstress.
