They called him Morgan Dempster Morgan
And he wore his name with pride
Though he didn’t have a heart
Just selenium cells inside
And he took all his food
From the wind from the sun
Gathered as he cruised
In his ever constant run
To and from the asteroid belt
The edge of near deep space
Helping mankind win
Their on going race
To repair their damage
To their home Planet Earth
Mining all the elements
No longer any dearth
Shunting them surely to
The growing colony base
Up there on the moon
In near home space.
The ice caps re forming
The ozone layer complete
And a growing healthier earth
Lay beneath mankind’s feet
Many lessons learned
Among those not the least
The planet was to share with every
Kind and species of bird and beast.
Gone all the ambitions of
The Colonising of space
Until they had learned properly
To care for their earth base
Morgan Dempter Morgan
Of the Android Space Fleet
Labouring with man to
Make the job complete.
Though he didn’t have a heart
Just selenium cells inside
They called him Morgan Dempster Morgan
And he wore his name with pride

Douglas Dempster the Dumpster King
Hates to be called Doug Dumpster
But he's to blame if that's his name
Denying it is a real stumper.
Mashes the trash, burns it to ash,
Recycles all that's allowed;
A self-made man with a garbage can
That ought to make him proud.
Dougy Dumps whines and grumps
"Nobody gives me respect!
If not for me the world would be
Garbage-bedecked! Cluttered and wrecked!
Sad and neglected, infested, infected
But thanks to me it all gets collected!"
Well thank you Doug-in-a-Dumper
For keeping our alleyways bright
Put on your very best jumper
And we'll take you out tonight.

Last year I wrote of a Red Sox team
The fans did not exactly scream
They could not swing, field or hit
Last place was theirs, that was it.
But John Henry said ENOUGH of that
I will not let this team go splat
So he fired a guy named Bobby V
And From The Jays did Farrell bring.
He traded away the vaunted three guys
To Gonzo, Beckett and Crawford bye bye!
He said the losing days are through
Saved a quarter billion dollars too.
The off season came on us soon
He got Napoli, Dempster and Victorino too.
Though no one gave the team a chance
The season came and they took off fast.
They started winning many games
And found themselves in first place.
In the dust they left yanks, birds and jays.
Kept winning through the summer days.
Now the season is poised to end
The team is looking great again
From worst to first, oh what a season
Team spirit and drive is the reason.
The playoffs loom, the team looks ready
Hitting and pitching very steady.
Fresh off a recent Yankees sweep.
This team looks like it can't be beat
To Fenway do the playoffs come
They'll take on all comers, everyone
For when all the opponents have been beaten
We'll win the Series, Oh what a season!!
