A fire crackles on a cold night
Illuminating the darkness with faint light
Toasting the cold hands and feet
Providing safety and heat
A fire protects from creatures
The orange glow an interesting feature
Every flame twists and turns
Creating shapes as it burns
Every crackle and pop from the log
Causes the mind to defog
Smoke billows into the night sky
Drifting in the breeze so high
Fire is life for the cold and weary
Can be the difference between life and death in theory
For those not adventurous
Lighting a fire isn’t treacherous
We can sing and dance
And let us enjoy the romance
Of those dancing flames
Providing safety to play games
With family and friends
You decide how to enjoy and how it ends
Paint if you will a picture
I tripped and fell
Right under your spell
I was Pavlov’s dog trained well
& you his very incessant bell
This is what it sounds like
Played out on a xylophone
Spelt like a name unknown
Only when I am all alone
No one to hear me moan
When doves cry
Because we talk of scorpions & frogs
Phoenix files that we archive & log
Queen bees hives left to defog
Vented outlined all in a blog
Do you lie?
We can play games of he said she said
The fact remains I want you in my bed
All those words stained inside my head
I want them silenced I want them dead!
Faith is like radar that sees through the fog
When faith is forced by reason agog
When it becomes blind it dies
It is like a bird that feels
Light in dark dawn still defog.
In faith there is enough light
For those who want to believe it
But for those who don’t believe
Enough shadows to blind the eye
I for one like the colour of the Dwait.

anyone in your life, but generally it is the mother.
