Defecting Poems

Hope For Uhuru At Dawn

At the darkest hour of night
Before night shadows
Steal across the wall of darkness
Into the welcoming hands of dawn;
As with defecting soldiers
At Korea's demilitarized zone
With my spoke,
I stoked the fire
Sending it's glamorous flame
Spiraling, hissing, revolving and tumbling
Like a million ocean waves,
Unraveling itself in its splendor;
Surging, splurging and lunging forward
Like a roaring lion
Seeking to subdue it's helpless prey
We encamped around the fire
At the village ilo
Titled men of Onicha ugbo,
Telling tales of valor
To psyche themselves
To the point of equilibrium
As men saturated in a binge
Of snuff, kola-nut and red bull,
With eyes of fire,
Await words of armistice
From Ukwunzu village
Drenched in the momentous suspense
Characterized by the uncertainty and promise
Which sneak in with dawn
As night tired limbs,
Like a ship gliding through
A voluptuous Ocean,
Navigates the unwinding path of darkness,
Devouring it copiously,
Seeking with desperation
To berth at dawn's
Promising shores
Our despair turns to fear,
Fear begets ambivalence
And uncertainty translates
To aspirations for
Dawn's hopeful uhuru

God Co-19 Down To You

I'd really like to know ?

Regarding CO-19

What is God's take on all of this ?

Is this all part of his plan ?

Is it in fact God's will ?

A test of faith and belief ?

Or are we on our own here ?

With all the church's closed

And your congregation

Left with no where to pray

I ask again ?

Have you abandoned us God ?

Where is your Love ?

Where is your mercy ?

In our time of need ?

Cometh the hour

Is this not time to show yourself ?

Because the Devil has

And is gathering up all the lost soul's

That think they have been forsaken

He'll on earth is here

And you are nowhere to be seen

The silence of our loved one's
dying is defining

And even your most faithful are defecting
to firery pastures

Crossing borders and faith at an alarming rate

Hope is in short supply and no 1 wants to die
but this is a far cry from heaven on earth

And as close to hell as World War 3

As we have come before

And people are searching for answers

Praying God is still listening

And will provide answers

Premium MemberLeaving

Leaving
Our love is like the beginning, broken
I was departing, thieving on my own a token
Like the cornerstone over testosterone
Roan thoughts
I'm defecting 'til dawn
I know you think I'm based on
You feel forgone
Na na na na leaving
A lawn for you and me
green acres, pastures tree plentiful trees
You and me
Alone under palm trees
Disenchanted, disenchanted girl
Flowerbeds are not safe, you disenchanted
You don't want to go being with me
I know you think I'm based on
You feel forgone
Na na na na leaving
You feel forgone I now believe it
You're forgone
You're leaving

Premium MemberThe Love of Jesus - John 15: 9

Jesus Christ the eternal son of God
loved by His father in all eternity
both always in union equally so
reign on high reveals divine identity

This Jesus declares His great love
for His own redeemed loving them so
showing such atoning love on Calvary
dying for our sins defecting our foe

Jesus tells us to constantly stay
always close to His love so dear
abiding in this love for eternity
His inerrant word makes this clear

Follow His counsel and guidance
listen to His spirit utters in our ear
His tones of love so sweet sound
such melodious music so ever clear

This is perfect love Godly and holy
the world ignorantly knows it not
but blessed are we His redeemed
as Jesus love clears our every blot

('As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. ')
