Dark Cloud

I feel like I'm starting to fall 
Back into that place again 
The place that I try to hide from
That place I dislike being in 

I'm not sure of the why, or how
I just feel that familiar return
Of the dark cloud that comes from nowhere
And makes happiness hard to discern

It resembles a feeling of grief
The heaviness weighs in

I used to write love poems..
Until my heart became invaded by the night
I used to love to find a home,
Until shadows filled the light
I used to be a golden boy
But now I hate the colors greedy sight
So many things in me that have become faded
And now it's the end of days inside of me that

Rolling, writhing 'fore rupture
wicked, amorphous structure

Eerie and dark, low it hovers
menacing to break its covers:

For, Hate is that heavy cloud
brandishing Guns in its shroud

When the sky goes black,
And the clouds, less gay,
