.
Dawn revealed a radiance
From the fallen snow of yesterday
Looking out the door did reveal
Sparrows
Feeding through little cracks
In snow's blanket upon the driveway
The Leland Cyperus' limbs are confectioner's
Sugar dusted
Pecan trees' naked skeletons white laminated
Wonderful rising sun upon the horizon
Casting radiating yellow between the shadowy trees
The light shrouds me with peace
As the quiet fills me with content
Then the call of the crow
Alarms, awakens
I wonder what food source they will have
In the snow
To carry them this cold day
