Cutesy Poems | Examples

Everything

Powdered doughnuts, screaming children,
Noisy autos and a silly red hen,
All the things everywhere, that, this, and then.
A week or a day, a minute, and an hour,
Everything all the time, candy that is sour.

The moon and stars and universe too,
All things everywhere, everything for you.
Big trucks, toy cars, tall buildings in our view,
Twilight, baseball, even morning dew.

Mountain tops, puppy dogs, yummy ice cream floats,
Bicycles, lollipops, Cutesy-colored post-it notes,
All things everywhere, everything I want for you.

Premium MemberMiss Bessy Cutesy Petootsie Teacher

Cutesy petootsie teacher with her hair so fine
The boys showed up every day in a line
The girls liked her too, she was a favorite all over school
One of the kindest teachers, and she was no fool

Her outfits were perfect, her hair the right kind of messy.
We called her Miss B, the principal called her Miss Bessy
She never missed a day, and we came every day too
The finest teacher I ever had since year preschool two

Premium MemberWe call her quirky girl

we call her quirky girl, but her name is Sue
She has striped socks and striped shoes
Her curly hair is in all kind of rainbow hues
She wears pink eyeglasses with hearts said Lou.

And a red cape, don’t forget that said Sam.
Sam has a bit of a crush on our heroine, he is a lamb.
She is so cutesy petootsie, you will love her too!
This was said by many who spoke of little Sue.

Quirky girl, I thought that was my own name.
But here was a girl who has much more fame.
The whole school knows her, and she is clever too.
She has a sense of humor and a big smile, our quirky Sue.

Premium MemberCarens Dream House

In Caren’s dream house there will be no rules.
No symmetry, no boring colors, no angry fools.
Everything will be cutesy, petootsie, batootsie and a mess.
There will be no reasons to overdress or bring on stress.

There will be no knocking or coughing at the door.
Just open it up and put your bare feet on my floor.
Bring me sugar or salt if you have some to spare.
Don’t be fearful if you forgot your underwear.

All of my bras are stacked behind a chair.
Where they are going to sit, go ahead and stare.
I don’t have a worry, I have no care.
In Caren’s dream house, we do what we dare.

As long as we are having fun with cartoons and paint.
You can be a sinner, a singer, a dancer, or a wanna-be-saint
But come ready to play and have fun and throw whipping cream.
This is my vision, my insight, my desire and my dream.

Snail travels to Japan in the fanciest way
We see him traveling, he’s cutesy today
He is wearing a camera around his neck.
He stops to give the emperor a genuflect.

His hat is from Australia, his eyeglasses from the wild.
He scoots around old men, he picks up a lady bug child.
We flowers surround him, admiring his ensemble of beauty.
It is our Japanese privilege, not our tradition or duty.

Cliques

If i were to write aesthetically pleasing
                             ~eye candy poetry~
                  with seemingly empty calorie,
would it not still have artistic value?
                        I see your objection,
                                   painting,
don't get your platinum colors in a bleach.
Your swimsuit issues are still a number one seller.
Your sell of body and lack of prose-
                       always a fashion trend,
                        "The Beautiful Ones".
Why don't you swing your cutesy panoramass
                              over here and...

Premium MemberHer Hair Does Not Go Along With Her Look

Her hair is all that with bubbly bouncy curls.
But they do not bounce on this little child, Meryls.
She has somber gray eyes that see clear enough.
She might have been through traumatic stuff.

I watch her closely, wondering what she might do.
If I break out in a happy song or a cutesy soft shoe.
Her hair does not seem to go along with her look.
Face without affect, she is a girl not easily shook.

Premium MemberUltimatum

This occasion I will be quick

use all my every wit and trick

fast as a shooting star
I will follow, like a mammoth
comet I will cut through and
not wallow in the dark, lighting
the sky, a rabid Solar Firefly!

Constant in my blazing
pursuit, though the heavens
are replete with obstacles
thick, I will remain slippery
slick – sliding over the thin weaving
fearlessly through the thick, taking leaps
and bounds like trumpeting elephants making
raging sounds – God knows this muse of
mine will know no rest! – tired of word-salads,
cutesy at best! – Give me something
of your monarch title worthy, and not continue to
deplete my precious poetic time by offering me another
bowl of mushy, flashy, sentimental-card-like, low hanging
fruit, overripe rhyme – or you're fired!!

Zoe Lei

Zoe Lei
Free Verse

A lei of beautiful fragrant rose
That blooms in the garden of love
A citrine California poppy
That attracts everyone.

Zoe Lei, you're so cutesy
 Your manner is sociable, folksy
Intelligent girl, pride of the family
God’s glory as you perform your duty.

Keep up the good work baby
We pray for you everyday
Asking God's guidance and felicity
That you may continue to feel His mercy.

Though we may be away in distance
But our heart is deeply entwined
Someday, we'll be again inweave
And together enjoy a family's happiness.

Bermuda Daydreams

When she crossed her legs,
an electric silk slipped over the jewel-studded sides
of a blushing chameleon.
Sand clung to her thighs,
a tapestry of flaxen crumbs on amber skin.

Thigh orientated beguilements
spread their plush landscapes.
Her shoulders were disrespectful –
I liked that. The massed pipes and drums
of her braided hair marched out of sight -
muted instruments of mutual destruction.

I imagined an emerald turtle born from a native legend
lived in her watchful heart.
I was alone for a thousand years
drinking her inward.

I wanted to ask her
but what?
I guessed that whatever her answer,
there would be no sign of small pink wings
and cutesy fairy smiles.
Besides it was then she looked my way
with that cool ‘-you’ stare.

When I got back alone to the hotel,
not having said a word to her,
I looked at my reflected sun-slapped face,
it was as unstable as dry sand,

yet the syllabary of her thighs
had so much more to say
as my face fell apart onto the wet floor-tiles.

Premium MemberAmerican Girl

Her optimism solid in her roots of red white and blue
Gallant knight was coming in princely form any time now
A waitress in every small town of America
Grinned her grin, showing her cutesy petootsieness
Her over polite ways parking a place until he arrived.
Hold tight, America, keep those dreams.

She filled those sugar shakers, and ketchup dispensers
Waiting on families who came every Fourth of July
When are you going to settle down? The daddy would ask.
His wife would smile, pretending she liked her local family.
She kept her dreams to herself figuring sharing would scare the prince.

Many years later I go through these small towns
See these women whose nights are filled with cats and romance novels
Their princes, cowboys, and FBI agents are not coming.
But who am I to discourage hope? Year after year I say nothing.
Amazed at her optimism in the form of red white and blue.
Watching her put out the bunting ever Fourth of July
Hoping to attract her perfect dreamland prince or cowboy

Premium MemberThis Modern World

I hardly recognize this
modern world
for it's changed so much
within my lifetime
I grew up
in a much different place
where people interacted
face to face
not through cutesy emojis
used in cyberspace
to express emotions on the internet
on such sites as Skype, Facebook, and Twitter
having never met
each other
in person
nor do they ever expect they ever will
for the meaning of a friend
has changed
to a numbers game
and how many likes you can collect over
other people competing
with you
on the cloud
meanwhile, the tactile feel of
a hardy handshake has all
but gone
the way of the dinosaurs
nowadays

Bums Are Funny

Bums are funny, I don't know why
giggling 'til I nearly cry-

Silly nicknames are so much fun
like tuchis, tail, rump or buns

Some are dainty, sweet or cutesy
like heinie, cheeks, and petootsie

Timid hinting at their meanings
“back-end”, “behind”... backward leanings

While some are spunky, full of sass
like keister, bum, or tush, (or ass)

Posterior and derriere
both spell it out with quite a flair!

But buttocks, butt, or plain “backside”
bare it all- with nothing to hide

Haunches, hindquarters, can or seat
the list goes on without repeat...

Rear-ends, bottoms, duffs, full moons
all leave me laughing like a loon!
