Bugs, beetles, ants, spiders and nightcrawlers too
They sometimes get squashed on the end of my shoe
I found a baby gardener snake, said a city kid named Hue.
We wisely kept our counsel, knowing what to do.
The gardener snake was not a snake, but a worm so true.
A dried up nightcrawler that had dried up crispier than pooh.
We kept this quiet to ourselves, being full blood country blue.
To help Hue save a bit of face we all shrieked and said “ooh!’

Thrice better is the cowardly creeper
Than a passionless lion laxing tame,
Who toothless lies as lesser beasts
Plot and paw jungle's sleeker game.
More inspiring than any genius wit
Is the dim-footed guesser ever out
For new surprises both foul and fit,
Taxing dumb Luck's diamond pout.
Let swifter-going synanthrope felines
Feast on cowering polar bears' meal;
And such fast ever-trying wing upset
Any slow-flying eagle's choicest deal.
Of what merit are manes and paws
That hang and whirl lame in the air;
Or agile-dashing limbs and fit claws,
If neither thus proportionately dare?
Uncork average vineity's cellars now,
I'll pardon their middler-vintner's skill;
To mañana-enchanted wantwits vow
Crispier sips that patient palate thrill.

Air is altering its pattern
Dusks are getting crispier
Nights are falling earlier
Sun is taking time to rise up
Leaves are changing their colors
Trees are showing off their fiery flairs
Pine needles and acorns have scattered all over
Halloween is around the corner
Ghosts and goblins are appearing at the doors with vampires
Skeletons and ghouls are hanging out near front arrivals
Entries are surrounded in the webs of humongous spiders
Witches and Jack-o’-lanterns are getting ready to welcome visitors
Black cats are showing up
Owls and spooky bats are flapping their flutters
Crescent moon is decorating the night skies with its shiny silver
Town is preparing itself to entertain little monsters
Plump round pumpkins are showing shades of orange, auburn and ginger
Costumes are being bought in stores
Candy containers can be seen in shops’ every corner
Eager children are getting ready for Halloween pleasure
Houses are smelling with sweet scents of candles
Kitchens are spreading aromas of pies cooked with cinnamon
Taste buds are savoring spicy warm apple ciders
Families are ready to greet and treat trick-or-treaters

Memory
My memory bank is
getting blank...
Time I took a dip
Into newer
Experiences..
I am moving
My mind to
A new planet
A new ocean..
For now
I am bankrupt!
New interests
should fill my
Bank.
I think
I know how to
Convert my
Fantasies
Into dreams
And mint
Realities
For crispier
Memories!
