I wish i can touch the sky.
Put on wing and then fly.
I wish I can starch and rewrite my past.
Undo the things I did not want to do, and go for a recast.
I wish I can say and do things I always wanted to do.
Understand the things that others have done for me and know its value.
I wish I can be born again.
Stop asking question all the time how is it and when.
I wish I can express my feelings more clearly.
Let everyone know whenever I disagree.
I wish god I can know the value of whatever you have given me.
And stop cribbing about how I wanted thing to be.
I wish I can understand that there is always a second chance.
And understand that god or bad cannot be decided immediately at a glance.

Once my grandfather held my hand,
I am going to show you something,
this secret you should not tell anyone,
I nodded in excitement as we walked towards the attic,
in one corner of attic lay an antique desk,
on top of it was a broken antique lamp,
He opened a wooden box,
it had a frayed book,
This is an old work son, written during 15th century BC,
"one of your great grandfather was a scribe,
at those times printing press was not there,
scribes would manually copy all documents"
he showed me some brushes made of reeds,
"they would dip these in ink to write,
pen was not invented by then".
That day I could not sleep,
I imagined an old scribe writing patiently, meticulously...
And here I was cribbing about few pages of homework,
that too written in bad handwriting!
Thank God! Someone invented the printing press
I can never be a scribe.

Valentine's Day isn't about you, men!
It's about spoiling* your self - women!
Nah! Can’t wait for being pampered!
Nah! Ain’t altruistic and self-sacrificing!
Nah! I don’t depend, I am demanding!
Yeah! Expectations are graduating!
And the love is exploding!
I am awesome and rocking!
I love glamour, I am always shimmering!
It’s just Tiffany’s, when I am shopping!
See my neck is flossing!
And my skin is gleaming!
Yeah, I love celebrating!
Valentine’s is exciting!
Let the rules, get breaking!
My eyes are shinning!
And the smile is beaming!
My look is ravishing!
My style is dazzling!
I love myself; I am dating!
You live only once, come on stop cribbing!
My gloss is now popping!
All my friends, let’s be rip-roaring!
(spoiling# pampering)

It's not without reason that it rained that day.
Those winter clouds were paler than my dead
grandmother's face. The wet blanket, which
the morning air wrapped around my sleepless
back, bore no pearls. The ever cribbing qualm
that sings the separation of leaving me to love me
wrote those broken words in those striped stones,
Sutlej gave them to me.
"Start again, let go of the bygones -
The simple is not meant to be complicated.
If you're walking your grave through, walk alone."
The body craves as the soul does and only more.
Yet the constructs of love keep me waiting
for the impossibility of being felt the way I want.
The poet sang for the wingless bird which longs
to fly and fly away. Images from a half shut door
of the unvanquished spirit keep my dreams alive even
when the winter clouds turned paler than my dead
grandmother's face.

Your capability to think indirectly amazes me,
the ability to twist things around amazes me,
how you go on cribbing about the world being unfair to you amazes me,
my incapability to comprehend you at times amazes me,
how everyone is a wannabe to you amazes me,
your self obsession amazes me,
your notion of being the best amazes me,
your two sided nature amazes me,
times i feel that you are better than the rest but your proficiency in letting me down amazes
me,
how you manipulate without being labeled as an opportunist amazes me,
how you make me pick up the pen and write this stuff amazes me,
the way you fool me with your straight talk amazes me,
way you make me think hard amazes me,
how you make me realize my faults and learn nothing amazes me,
way you make me feel useless and sick inside amazes me,
the fact that i can't ignore you amazes me,
my honesty amazes me,
my naivety amazes me,
my inability to become like you amazes me,
why i don't call this a complexity amazes me,
but people such as you don't seem to amaze the world,
as world's nothing but a place for manipulative people and that amazes me.
