Creedal Poems

Premium MemberConsubstantial

Ere time, consubstantial were God and Word,
distinct yet intertwined, same, not homoi.
Creator, light by darkness never blurred,
life’s author, shining source of man's great joy.

A man from God, John did come to proclaim,
profess the light that all men might believe.
"Prepare the way," the herald did exclaim,
the Maker of the world to be received.

Though come unto his own, he met disdain.
Yet those who trusted Him, and in His name,
born not of blood nor will of mortal man,
these were adopted, God's children became.

The Word donned flesh, among us pitched His tent,
’twas filled with grace and truth, by Father sent.

(from John 1)

homoi - Greek, meaning similar, of like kind - one of the important creedal declarations was that Father and Son are the same essence, not just like or similar, part of the fuller development of the doctrine of the trinity from the study of scripture

Adonai authors all,
anticipates all,
altruistically acts,
accomodating* acrimonious aliens,
allowing adoptive access.

Beloved bestows blessing,
begetting bliss,
birthing born-again believers.

Creator conveys
captivating covenental communiques;
creatures cogitate,
construct creedal confessions.

Divine drama,
documented,
drives doctrine,
develops delighted disciples
drinking deeply,
delivering doxologies.

I've given myself some ideal times to reckon.
My musings meander for no apparent reason
I don't settle what to predict on the challenge.
Where I'm being idling within the lucid adage,

Notwithstanding, it is thus somewhere out there.
With his pensiveness perfectly elsewhere,
It's likely the case that this would be creedal.
Suspicions, then again, may as well tweedle.

It is helpful to inquire over evoking glints pitch.
That could only hit the one to maul his switch.
My surmise is this is a direct result of reality.
You're adding a snide view on my apparency.

From the edges of your lowly litters' haven,
It's vital to grasp I would instead foil this beckon.

Premium MemberEaster Eggs As Health Systems

Trees and seeds
like embryonic eggs
are each fed by root systems
intending diastatic maturation,
like Easter lillies,
and seasonal, more static, decomposing purgation,
heading toward further cooperative re-investments
or waste
depending on our choices
and way of seeing,
more competitive or more cooperative.

The seed of human nature's nutritional system
are the trees of Earth's natural root systems,
ergodic and phylogenic,
designed for ecopolitical cooperation
more than ego-individual,
or ethno-tribal-creedal,
or anthro-super-speciating
monoculturing competitions.

Trees and seeds
and new-life eggs
are each fed by history's more cooperatively-owned
and governing
root nutritional systems.
