Covertness Poems | Examples

Within the Sleepless Still

Before my breath touches the morning air,
My thoughts in taciturnity upon suppression of solitudes…
Inhibition initiates interdiction within the hibernal hollow,
Where time a frozen fortress amidst the saturninity still.

The covertness of oblivions obedient in their absolution,
Daunting dorms of doldrums debilitate in their debacle…
Where the vaporous voids echo in their virginal vacuums,
The muted madness mandates the asphyxiated air.

Segregated silent sorrows suffice within my chaotic cage.
Where ignorance incubates immoral idols imposing…
The hellion hordes encroach the silent sentinels standing,
The laconism within my heart erupts with forbidden fury.

The silence sings with thunder as a tear touch’s the ground,
My empty eternal eyes dormant amongst horizons hid…
My mind in a decadent declination before walls of illusions,
And thus before a wounded wake, I am trapped in tangled time.

Until the Last Drop

Within sequestered silent tears’, my heart hibernates,
Solitudes that slumber amongst the venomous voids…
Love is snared amidst echoes that resonate in repose,
The walls of confusion crumble upon ravenous ruins.

A qabalistic quarantine quenching quiet landscapes,
Where alienation adorns the converging covertness…
Surreptitiousness strains seclude, darkened subterfuge,
For the wasteland withdraws within the wilderness.

A deluge of desolation dominates the demons den,
For what is left in my last lugubrious tender tears…
Is the love which divides within distorted dissolution,
As bleakness becomes, I am with you until the last drop.

...stay safe everyone & God bless...

The World To Come

The World To Come

Try to imagine a world
That will never know death
No more shadow of sin’s curse
No more sickness just health
Beautiful flowers that don’t die
What a glorious sight
No more nasty weeds in the garden
No more rot or blight

Each one builds a home
And lives in it too
Tends grapes in the garden
Everything stays new
No repairs are needed
No white ants to destroy
What’s been built today
Lasts forever to enjoy

Love abounds in this place
No greed or hate
No stealing occurs
What a perfect state
Keys are not needed
To protect our belongings
No covertness exists
No empty longings

A father who loves us
And dwells with us there
Guides us and teaches us
None else can compare
No need to sleep
Because we’ll never be tired
This world to come
Should be so greatly desired!

Black Widow

She held him like a priceless vase
Gently, lovingly in her arms
The promise of love for eternity
Was said without words

He held her tightly
As if she were a dream
That was about to vaporize
He loved her dearly.

Her eyes searched his for doubt
But none could be found
She knew she brought out the best in his weakness
Total submission was her prize

He worked hard to gain her affection
Returning home late, exhausted
But forcing himself the extra mile
To posses her, to make love to her, his dream

While he slaved at work she kept the house
Entertaining gentleman callers
Lustfully spending his love without indiscretion
And denying him at his tenacious appetite

He returned home early to find her
Joyously overwhelmed by her male covertness
He remembered how hard he fought to keep her from
Her expulsion to her home country

She knew her fate, it was sealed in time
She ran after him but the deed was done
It took a moment and they took her in exile to be deported
Her regret trickled down her cheeks as the taste of her fruits matured
