The World To Come

The World To Come Try to imagine a world That will never know death No more shadow of sin’s curse No more sickness just health Beautiful flowers that don’t die What a glorious sight No more nasty weeds in the garden No more rot or blight Each one builds a home And lives in it too Tends grapes in the garden Everything stays new No repairs are needed No white ants to destroy What’s been built today Lasts forever to enjoy Love abounds in this place No greed or hate No stealing occurs What a perfect state Keys are not needed To protect our belongings No covertness exists No empty longings A father who loves us And dwells with us there Guides us and teaches us None else can compare No need to sleep Because we’ll never be tired This world to come Should be so greatly desired!
