The Conceived Illusions

Most confining and to the decencies,
Feebled feelings and enslaved alternates,
Oddly detached, from them degradations,
Of whimpered whines and conceived illusions.

The reliance on the diminished decisiveness,
The age past then that's best in stewardship,
Oddly detached from the practice in manship,

The dependence on them downed possessions,
Of untimely prowess, times of emancipations,
But conceitedly troubled with fantasized them,
The perceived attachments to concise illusions.

Nothing more tragic or comical, than to think life ends at fifty.
So terribly brainwashed...really!

A sag here, a wrinkle there, proves you lived a long life.
To an old dame, like me, I celebrate life, it's beautiful and nifty.

The mirror reflects the outer you, not a big deal, really.
Unless you are drunk on your body, poor you, strutting about
conceitedly!

So what have you done for someone else today?
Have you made a difference to someone in any way, or areyou
running to the store for yet another jar of Oil of Olay?

If all we are is our bodies, a very sad state of affairs.
Let's get off the "gotta be young train" and instead grow
 truly, spiritual and compassionate brains!

Rage Lives Here

soft hands forbidden
rage lives here
fermenting in greed and hate

too clever by half
he knows naught
conceitedly he postures

tightly in control
power mad
untouched by pitiful cries

a childhood denied
forever
haunted by what could have been

Rumble In the Clouds

The wind roared to the sun
The sun boasted about onto the flowers
The flowers dodged the bees
The grass said "Ouch!" every time my feet trampled upon it
Wind told me it was feeling under the weather
While the rain got offended and came down on it hard
Bullied it back beyond the clouds
The clouds stood as one
And filtered the whole sky
Marching coast to coast
Waving a plain white flag
Beckoning the bashful sun to show again
The sunshine has gained a courage
And told the rain to get lost
The rain cried gently as its last stand
Flew far west where he might be more appreciated
The flowers waved goodbye for their petals were soaked
The bees came back to suckle more
But the wind stomped in hard and blew them away
The sun finished having his garden party
But grew tired and lowered himself down for the night
Moon walked galantly past
Ushered by his obnoxious stars
They twinkled and sparkled conceitedly
While the Night let open how his day had gone

The Black Cross

I SPOT a lofty black cross
Standing conceitedly on a rock-strewn mount,
Where nothing akin to a tree can be seen,
Murky clouds hovering over it,
It is on this cross that she will
Sacrifice me for the sake of love

I OBSERVE dry as a bone grass,
That left chasing precious emerald existence
Because the master of life-rain
Could not depart the lucrative comfort of cloud nine
To reprieve underprivileged earthlings;
As the sunburned grass sever to shreds,
I perceive her love for me fading
Radically till nothing of it remains,
She tramples upon me unfeelingly

WHEN I raise my eyes to meet up hers,
Tears COURSE down my cheerless cheeks,
In her face I discern weariness, withdrawal.
She appears dull and outrageously sorrowful-
Conceivably I am a great irk to her,
She cannot let me feel her lips once more.

NOW alone I contemplate smoke rising,
I bathe myself in the glee of solitude,
Shrewd that hours of night must go a way
Paving way for hours of dawn that must also go a way;
That the putrid soul of mine
Possibly will one day be rapt and inspired
Though she has departed from me

Views of You

Folks say you're conceitedly hard-headed;
you say, no, simply opinionated.

       Others say you're foolishly arrogant;
       you say, no, just soberly confident.

You are, for some, naively ignorant;
You are, for you, politely tolerant.

       For others, you're safely uncommitted;
       but for you, you're being open-minded.

To some, you're a terrorist murderer,
to you, you're the people's freedom fighter.

       All these are merely biased points of view
       construed and viewed as skewed by them and you!
