Premium MemberTRUTH STANDS ALONE

No mystery here.
I’ll speak the truth,
Whatever that truth may be.
Some say truth is relative.
How can that be the case?
What’s relative is our personal slant
Seen through a particular shade.
Truth stands alone.
It doesn’t change.

"Truth is like a lion.
You don't have to defend it.
Let it loose...
It will defend Itself."

Facts can’t be manipulated.
Beneath all structures
The Matrix stands unmoved.
It can’t be annihilated.
Consciousness governs the essence
Of life and is what keeps it spinning.
Everything else, we hang upon
Its structures and accept in acquiescence.

Not truth, but conjecture,
Projection for personal gain.
The Truth is much more beautiful
Than we could ever imagine.
It smiles at our naiveté
And continues to hold
The universe together.

Premium MemberYOU CANNOT FAIL

What would you do,
What heights would you sail,
If you really knew
You could not fail?

Would you talk to yourself
In a brand new, positive way?
Would you only listen to the
Encouraging things people say?

Would you take bigger chances
And blaze new trail?
Would you reach for the stars,
If you could not fail?

Would you create a new life
Filled with happiness, joy and light?
Would you open your mind and heart
To a greater vision and broader insight?

The Universe is on your side and
Only wants you to succeed.
So, affirm success with every thought,
Kind words, growing hope and generous deed.

You can achieve each goal and dream,
Your heart can possibly hold.
So, be brave and true, stay focused.
Remain confident and bold.

The Creator of the Universe will support you
With abundant, flowing multiple streams.
You cannot fail if you don’t waiver,
And fight for your biggest dreams.

Premium MemberWe Don't Like Poetry

She said, “I don’t like poetry.”
“Forsooth!” said I, “Really?”

Yet you listen, hour upon breathless hour
To rhythmic verses of country whine,
Endless twanging, chaotic musical notes banging.
In the background, white noise and lustful melodies clanging.

“I don’t like poetry.” He said.
“Forsooth!” said I, “Really?”

Yet you gyrate to the raging beat of violent rapping.
Husky lyrics flow melodiously off your cursing tongue
And spray the peaceful, quiet night with viral, hateful musings.

“We don’t like poetry.” they said.
“Forsooth!” said I. “Like, really?”

Madonna, Taylor, Pink, Katy …
you can’ t wait to download their latest offerings.

Poetry rules your life.
You lust for it.
You need it to survive.
It sets the rhythm of the universe,
And your childish beating heart.

Just because it’s set to music? “Forsooth.” said I.

Premium MemberJust a Breathy Sigh

A breathy sigh that moved the air
encircled us with lusty flair.
Its sweet and tender brush of love
Left unsaid our intention there.
Some deep and thoughtful bold assertion
Drew us closer into its glare
And staved away intrusion of all others
Lest they disturb the passion bared,
And sweet the savory music flowed
Around, about, above, below
Until we floated on the brink
Of true love's kiss and knowing wink.
Love speaks to us on deeper levels
Where mere words cannot communicate.
How strong the pull of your embrace
And sweetly tinted kiss upon your face.
Each breathy sigh wafts through space
No matter where you go from me.
My heart knows each step you take,
And when you think of me
Every breath is shared with you
Every moment of love in tune,
Each sacred dream we share together,
And hope for futures yet unplanned,
Caress the air with sweet perfume
To pull us closer back together.
Because our love remains strong and true,
I dare not take a breath without you.

Premium MemberFully Loaded

When I arise in the morning, after “Thank you, God!” I often ask,
Am I fully loaded for this day to meet and complete my many tasks?

Have I spent the necessary time in thoughtful contemplation,
And calmed my overactive mind with deep yoga meditation?

Am I free from negative, nagging dark moods and fitful emotions?
Can I rise to the challenge of this day with faith, praise and devotion?

How I start my day sets the tone and pace of my achievements.
Gratitude, praise, and love are the highest spiritual vibrations.

When I fill my spirit with these before the morning work begins,
I know I am fully loaded and positive waves of faith pave my way
With all the help, encouragement and support I need for the day.

Premium MemberDone With the Muse

Poetry is a messy business. It reveals itself in phases,
Flowing, growing, dancing upon the starkly untouched pages.
Happily, the stream of thought won’t stop for days upon days
Then, BAM! It burns out in raging, steely blade, cold stages.

Where’s the muse? Her inspiration tepid and haunting,
Never there when you truly need her the most,
Only when she feels like playing up to you again.
Otherwise, she’s dodging side-eyed, hiding like a ghost.

Well, I’m done with the muse, no longer feel I need her.
Finding inspiration in everyday experiences, people, places
And things; thoughts I conjure up all by myself at 3 AM.
While the rest of world sleeps in dreams and guarded spaces.

She’s no longer welcome. I’m keeping her at arm’s length.
She let me down one too many times and dropped me in the brink.
From now on, all you get is the swells from the depths of me
I don’t care what the muse may say, no longer care what she thinks.

Premium MemberMountaintop Moments

You know those mountaintop moments
When your spirit seems to soar,
When all the stars align just for you,
When you have all you wanted and more?

Everything you touch seems to turn to gold
And you can do nothing stupid or wrong.
Mountaintop moments make you feel like
You are invincible, immortal and strong.

They seem to come infrequently and rarely do they last,
But when they hit, they make life worth living.
In the in-between time, we long for the rush and
Thrill mountaintop moments alone will be giving.

It’s the in-between time where we live out most of our days.
Struggling, straining, worrying, working to align our stars.
Some have come to understand there are better ways.
Alignment can be manifested through focused thought and prayers.

You can learn to flow with Lifes River, easily carrying you downstream,
No need to fight against the swirling currents, memories of your past.
In-between moments can be raised to perfection.
Peace and happiness lived daily, create mountaintop moments that last.

Premium MemberAttachment to Things

Close your eyes gently. Breathe deeply and slow.
Take a calm, stolen moment to consider what you know.
Open your eyes slowly. On what do they fall?
You see things all around you. They mean nothing at all.

In every instance, you assign the value of each and every piece.
You give them all the meaning that they will ever have.
All are neutral but become symbols of your deep-seated beliefs,
Whether you understand it or are completely naïve.

Each stare back to reflect and remind you of stronghold beliefs.
They accuse you of attachments and meanings you’re unable to show.
Without them, you would not be able to see your hidden thoughts.
It’s easy to see why it’s so hard to release and let them go.

Consciously, you never give your things a second thought.
You just can’t live without them. Without them you chafe.
They make you feel good; make you feel whole.
Gathered all around you, they make you feel safe.

Unhappy with your life? Look at your symbols.
Each is a symbol of who you believe yourself to be.
Each holds the energy that you have projected.
Let go of the attachments to set your mind free.

Premium MemberBATTLE CRY

A great man, bloodied upon the stage,
Lifted high his fist in a fit of rage.
“Fight! Fight! Fight!” was his Battle Cry.
He lived through the trauma, too driven to die.

A crooked man, intelligent but troubled and young
Lay sprawled on the rooftop with a powerful gun.
His life snuffed out in a moment, he didn’t hear the cry,
“Fight! Fight! Fight!” echoed by thousands standing by.

God’s Grace and Protection covered the park that day,
Although the protectors were in chaos and stark disarray.
A Higher Power had declared the time was not here.
It was destiny calling for 45’s Battle Cry cheer.

“Fight! Fight! Fight!” will stay in the minds and the hearts
Of the millions of Patriots ready to play their own parts.
They stand tall and resilient with no fear or dismay.
Our Country’s values and dreams won’t be stolen away.

We will never give up. We will never give in.
“Fight! Fight! Fight!” until we are free again.

Premium MemberFaulty Perceptions

Release the world from your faulty perceptions,
And all the threatening things you believe it to be.
We see the world through our own tinted lenses.
Only the things we look for, are the things that we see.

When we question the origin of misguided beliefs,
They cannot hold up to scrutiny’s piercing gaze.
When exposed, they cauterize our gaping wounds by
Forgiving the sins, releasing the pain in a glorifying blaze.

The devil is in the details.
It's a house of cards built on shifting sand.
Release one false belief and let
The rest collapse in your trembling hand.

Premium MemberMissy Mouse nursery rhyme

Missy Mouse left the house,
Skipping down the lane.
She was happy dancing among the flowers
And splashing in the summer rain.

When the soft rain stopped, she hopped
Upon the moss lined forest path.
She twirled and danced among the trees,
Happy to breathe the fresh cleansed air at last.

Missy Mouse returned to her house
As the sunset began to glow above.
She loved the beautiful world around her
And thanked the Creator for His Love.

Premium MemberAngels of Light

Angels of Light, tenderly touch her brow.
Remove the pain that binds her now.
Gentle, peaceful passing into the rainbows beyond,
Where light and love meet joy and peace,
Rising with every brilliant celestial dawn.
Release her spirit to the universe,
Set her Soul now free to fly.
Unshackle every earthbound debt,
And vanquish all the tears she's cried.

Angels of Light, spread your wings
Of Grace and Love, unfurled smiles.
Keep me close to her heart as now
She crosses Heaven's incalculable miles.
Release her body etheric, and
Take her Home at last.
Gently lay her in the arms of the
Loved ones who have already passed.

Angels of Light, with Mercy and Grace
Remove the pain from her beautiful face.
Open her eyes to the new horizon
Gently sweeping upon celestial shores.
I know she'll be waiting for me
When I fly through those heavenly doors.

Premium MemberPOETRY IS A DANCE

Poetry is a dance of words and feelings,
                                  Bouncing off my inner ear;
                            Laughter, tears and joyous giggling
That only the writer's heart can hear,

A tension playing against life's strings,
                      Vibrating wildly to my soul's quickening pace;
                              Rushing, gushing, struggling to be
The first upon the mighty page.

Premium MemberNaked to the Bone

I stand beneath the evening sky,
Naked to the bone.
Everything that once I loved has now
Been taken from me; feels like forever gone.

No more soft hugs and tender kisses
Intended just for me alone.
Gone are the innocent laughing eyes whose
Life within so brightly shone.

Each child has gone their separate ways
To seek their paths alone.
I am left beneath the stars,
Naked to the bone.

Just how do I now find my way
When there’s nothing left for me at home;
No fire, no song, no gentle touch,
Just naked to the bone.

Premium MemberForgiveness

Amazing how the sadness mends
Its fibers weave a web of gold,
Sparkling gold in eyes so brown,
Pools so deep that I could drown.

Amazing how the morning comes,
Regardless of the depth of night.
All demons now sadly fade,
Release their hold and creep away.
Forgiveness knocks, an embrace away,
but buried sorrow won't be swayed.

Amazing how it never ends,
How slowly sorrow takes to mend.
But, the Master's knowing,
His warm, gentle heart,
His guiding glance, that sets apart
That shares a secret, silent smile
And accepts with grace the wayward child
To lead him safely homeward once again.
Forget the past, erase the sin.

The Master's knowing reaches the heart within,
And lifts high the remnants of the soul
Who now has nowhere else to go.
