Christmas thoughts

The evening is closing in
Soon it will be dark

The day has been glorious.
Winter sun, the sky was blue.

The two of us were left in the room
are bound by a shared love

This Christmas evening tells
We have survived in our time

For us, the future is narrow
We do not face fear

On TV, laughter and hectic eyes
We are secure in our modesty.

                 Is it true,
                 that reindeer can fly?

                 Is it true,
that Santa Claus is a friendly guy?

                 Is it true,
that he lives in a secret house at the North Pole?

                 Is it true,
that he is wanted by Interpol?

                 Is it true,
                 that elves love goodies?

                 Is it true,
                 that dad nibbles cookies?

                 Is it true,
that mom gave Santa a kiss?

                 Is it true,
                 tell me... dear sis.

Christmas Thoughts 2020
By: Miracle Man
December 23, 2020

It’s roots, in a distant land, many years ago,
the reason we should celebrate was born in a stable.
Now materialism has mantled our minds like snow,
He came to earth to do, what no other was able.

It’s true, Christmas is a wonderful time of year,
when memories are drawn from our retention.
Much gift shopping and the spreading of cheer,
but the birth of a Savior many hardly mention.

This is the season when the forest has winter coat on
Where does frost smoke come from
Is it our angels morning yawn
Sunlight comes as little fanfares from the cello tones
Large pine trees decorated for Christmas joy
Gusts send thoughts from forest to sea
Everything slides into each other to a beating heart
  Here's silence among nature sounds
Christmas is approaching .... once from the purest source
The time Jesus lay in the crib

Christmas Thoughts

Christmas thoughts
running thoughts of love for you still fall upon my minds thoughts
for winter days are moving in so quickly for all to see

my mind still so twisted like the leave in winter
fallen to the floor ready to perish
to the grounds open heart

for Christmas cheer
is so near
yeah
for all the trees lights that sparkle, twinkle in the dark nights
for fires burn so open to the cracking and popping
of pine wood

such sweet thought in my mind as Christmas come so near
so i hope by then you will be here holding my hand

for this will be my Christmas cheer .
