Christmas thoughts

Christmas thoughts

The evening is closing in
Soon it will be dark

The day has been glorious.
Winter sun, the sky was blue.

The two of us were left in the room
are bound by a shared love

This Christmas evening tells
We have survived in our time

For us, the future is narrow
We do not face fear

On TV, laughter and hectic eyes
We are secure in our modesty.
