Chairing old thoughts, rocking gently,
Living with chaotic aging blight,
I do keep yearning calmly
To travel day and night
With sun's silent chariot blithely.

Questions decided to stop asking
only offer opinion
Ideas now chase themselves
Dreams have retired
and now doze in chairing rocks
so lazy that i missed out the last line
Time spends sometime some times
Inspire is dehydrated
Practising the mistakes
i am uncompleted by the verse
of one
Provocate myself
Listless on my list
Wish to make new words
or am i just being
apsurp
What if i am asking the answers
The aftermath of climate change will last:
global warming will be devastating.
Worldwide, ocean waters are rising fast
while short-sighted lies keep circulating:
some islands might be a thing of the past.
Coastal cities contemplate building walls:
but I'm afraid, it's too little too late.
Politicians hedge when disaster falls:
chairing committees that secretly debate
drastic options while the government stalls.
When the rain ceases, irrigating crops:
millions of people will face starvation.
There will be empty shelves in all the shops,
and worldwide trade will slow to stagnation:
once the global financial market flops.
Mass immigration will not be allowed:
any shred of decency will be lost.
Armies will be deployed to cull the crowd:
borders will be guarded at any cost,
and our world might end in a mushroom cloud.
Trapped in my mind, taking refuge from scurge who annoy me.
Mouths move, words understood but sentences simply defeat me.
Over my head like live ammunition a garbled blurb shoots out a round.
The talk I hear must be important from the nods and expressions I see.
I try to engage, say something clever but I'm out of my depth in this room.
All eyes on me, "be confident man" my inner self tells my good self.
So I speak of the graphs and figures projected but have no idea what they mean.
A silence then follows, then a few nods, nobody in this room has a clue.
It's full of hot air, boardroom bravado and who can talk the most gibberish.
With poker faces and arrogance aplenty my time in that room makes me sick.
The nausea continues week after week, next time I'm chairing the Board!
