That one, who understood that the flowers,
were the most beautiful thing in the world,
gather before roses, orchids
This one, understood everything, and loved.
The flowers and their heavenly perfumes,
Make him forget sorrows of love,
Forget hours spent in front of the sciences,
Flowers make you forget the people in a hurry,
This one has understood everything that has fooled him,
What can do without easy pleasures,
The loves of youth are illusions,
Flowers are the most beautiful thing in the world.

Milk and cookies to dunk into the night,
smiles are full of chocolate endorphins;
Filling to the brim decorative tins,
comfort food says everything is alright;
Vowing to eat just one but lose the fight,
sharing with those unexpected drop-ins;
Milk and cookies;
Every one is devoured now you just might
taste just like a bunch of sugary grins;
Amidst all the unwavering chagrins
your clothes may be hugging a bit too tight;
Milk and cookies.

They wait till I sleep
and hide within
recalling old memories
and past chagrins
Those tracks untrodden
to walk again
each choice unchosen

Beaux petits lapins
Sans chagrins
Bien nourries
Sans ennuies
Bien au chaud
Âmes si gros
Près à partagés
Tu n'a pas changé
Aussi courageuse
Ma belle serveuse
Savoir le bien être
Couvres vos têtes
L'amour de nos jours
Avait besoin de secours
Me prendre par la main
Vos douleurs vous faites fin

Window curtains in my room sway with the silent winds;
The cold smog crawls on the frozen garden covered with the mists.
I see everything slowly fades but the splendor around never chagrins.
Would it be romantic to stare at the fog in the middle of a secret tryst?
A cup of coffee would be a perfect match to savor this picturesque scene.
So I could finally wear my old-borrowed jacket; I wish this would persist.
The hazy trees in front of my cottage house seem to look like a Halloween.
But this soul contrarily feels different looking at this painted-gray minute.
It is frigidly aglow and mesmerizing where the murk meets the serene.
My pale nails and skin are freezing but not my riveted spirit;
I am awestruck with the cold season’s mystic beauty.
I wish I could lend my eyes to my sister so that she could see it.

This is my love letter to our lovely planet oasis
Alas taken for granted and abused on a daily basis
Through the years she’s provided me with much joy and wonder
She’s filled my heart with awesome scenes up above and down under
It chagrins me to think I’ve seen both my last rainbow and sunrise
Never again to be amazed by a sunset bearing radiant surprise
The feel of tree bark and rustling leaves on branches in the breeze
Intoxicating perfumes of lilacs, roses and gardenia that appease
The songs of birds large and small, the flow of rivers’ lifeblood
The exquisite purety of waterlilies that are rooted in mud
The smells of each season that inebriate all my senses
The feel of snowflakes on my skin and all those odd coincidences
No more nights looking up at a starry sky and the moon in all its phases
Pondering our insignificance within this grandeur and vastness that amazes

A darkness crept into my world, silently
taking the bumpy, smoothness from
my daily chagrins
And then, next it jumped in, unexpected
marring my other lives, my genetic bonds
leaving us all with worry, and the fearful
possibility of it spreading
Through his body, and possibly hers,
I could say why, but would that help
overcome the possible inevitability
or could I
just be there! For them!
And sleep with my fingers crossed
every night, forever
and ever!
