I am going
On a diet but that
Fat or slim
I will die anyway
But try not to stray
Into the fast foods
And savory flavors
Tempting me with
Deep fried
Culinary favors from
A Pied eyed Piper Pedaling
Perfectly baked
Buttery dishes
Cornmeal flaked and
Best wishes
For a man like me
Preferring deep
Fried catfishes to
Any kind of sushi
Oh….
The hell with it
It’s a holiday
- A catfish, a catfish!
- It’s not.
- Why?
- It’s a king of catfishes! Good for you. Ok, put its Majesty in the boat.
The boat is anchored at the edge of the shallow water.
I, seven years old, knee-deep in water, drag my first big catfish, holding its slimy gills in my arms raised over my head, but the fishtail feels the water and, having knocked me down with a powerful strike, the king legs it…
I grew up, I caught a lot of kings, but even on the brink of death I will feel the chagrin.
CATFISH
Catfishes show marvels of moving barbel
Just whiskers of cat look like and resemble.
Blue or Flat headed
Channel also named.
Catfish likes fish eggs, algae palatable.
At dining table, Humans enjoy catfish
In lunch or dinner, they can try to relish
when served hot from oven,
fact already proven.
Any one does not want to miss, catfish-dish.
