An old man at a rest home, in a pillowed chair
sat turned to a window with a cold and distant stare.
Now bid by politician to impart his words so wise ,
startled all that day as he spoke with tear filled eyes.
Willy Nilly !
Slogans silly!
What a lot of worthless poo !
Vanity and irony , Arrogant hullabaloo !
Rounding once again the bush and never coming to a point.
Answers from a candidate with eyes that case the joint.
Searching for donations selling hundred dollar dogs
while your nation lives in squalor and their rations feed the hogs.
Acid etching freedom as you fly the flag in storms.
The Whitehouse once a castle is now a drunkard’s dorm.
And we the weeping people must cling to hope and faith
in the remnant of a legend of a country that was great .
You greet each other in the street and shake each other’s hand .
Taking shortcuts to your pedestals to bypass common man .
Your citizens are divided over conflicts you devise .
They vote for you and for their votes your promises are lies .
For this our comrades shed their blood !
For this their mothers cried !
And when Uncle Sam was finished,
He bowed his head and died.
Time to off heal wounds
Go find maturity
Seek about respect
Confide within confidence
Love compassion while it breaks
Brink resides threat held up danger
On the brink of a break
Promise pleading
Case the joint
Lend aid to your wounded
Self less than more
More less than selfish
Innocuously alone
Marooned
Isolated
Internally deteriorated
Dismembered remains
Officially remembered
Forgotten my passing
Time to off heal wounds
11/22/17
I crossed the yard
two-thirds awake,
intent upon
that coffee break:
young teacher hunk,
one tall, cool stud
(before the Night,
before the Flood,
before the Flight
of all that’s good,
before the Blight
brought down the Wood,
and damned spare tyres
dammed up the Gush),
I waded through
the schoolgirl crush.
Two slinky babes,
real dinky girls,
all legs and lips
and kinky curls
said “Come upstairs,
hang out with us:
we’ve got some ****
we could discuss.”
You think me stupid?
Yes, indeed-o.
They led me upstairs
by the libido.
With limbs so nimble,
movements fleet,
they steered me to
the science suite.
We pushed ajar
the green lab door,
and they weren’t smiling
any more.
They wanted me
to case the joint.
They’d brought me here
to make a point,
for Tippy Hedren
and Lee Remick
had drawn me in
for pure polemic.
That sterile world
of steel and glass:
that ingrained smell
of Bunsen gas!
You’d keep away
from high school labs
if you’d seen what
was on those slabs.
( BANK ROBBERY )
Theres going to be a robbery, where theres lots of cash at hand.
Its going to take the 4 of us, and we all got to understand.
There cant be any mess ups, we got to plan this robbery out.
Case the joint and watch everyone, know what each one is about.
Do it in the morning when most people are at work.
Scare the bank teller, make them think there going buserk.
Take 2 guns and a taser, and give the man a note.
Demand all the money in our bags, then later we can gloat.
Make sure the get a way car runs, make sure its full of gas.
We got a time limit, and each detail has got to be real fast.
Wear ski masks on our face, so no-one knows its us.
Look very scary, jump in circles and always try to cuss.
We are in the car on the way to bank, our blood is really cooking.
Got Mel in the drivers seat, and Jason is the lookout cause he is better looking.
We are really getting close, only a block and each one posed.
We pull up to the bank, and the damn sign says its closed.
