So much stress
Constant pressure
Customers to please
Deadlines to meet
Bills to pay
Obligations to keep
Overflowing inboxes
Affairs to attend
Presents to buy
Meals to plan
Shopping, shopping
Carpools to drive
Concerts, movies, plays...
My, but we are busy
aren't we?
How can we make time
for the important things
in life when we are busy
24/7?
Where have we come from?
Where are we headed?
What are we doing
with our lives?
I just don't think so; I don't have the time
I'm put-upon all day, from nine to nine
Give it to someone else less busy than me to do
I sure wouldn't want to disappoint YOU
I've got kids to feed and take to school
Then there's work all day in between carpools
When all that's done, I've gotta cook and clean
Oh, I'd like to help you; I don't want to seem mean---
But you understand, don't you, that I mean no offense
And that everything I'm saying makes perfect sense
So please find someone else, who can do it right away
~ Someone who works only THREE shifts a day!
