My, But We Are Busy

So much stress
    Constant pressure
   Customers to please
    Deadlines to meet
         Bills to pay
    Obligations to keep
   Overflowing inboxes
      Affairs to attend
      Presents to buy
        Meals to plan 
    Shopping, shopping
     Carpools to drive
 Concerts, movies, plays...
   
    My, but we are busy
          aren't we?

    How can we make time
    for the important things
    in life when we are busy
              24/7?

  Where have we come from?
    Where are we headed?
      What are we doing
         with our lives?
