You know what? Too much of ship been going on.
As I sit back I realize, I been dealing with a lot of ship. I really been in some ship and through some ship in my life.
But enough about me, what about you? What kind of ship have you been in or experienced?

relationship, censorship, battleship
sportsmanship, leadership, kinship
discipleship, cruise ship, sponsorship
championship, guardianship, worship
membership, scholarship, dealership
spaceship, citizenship, fellowship
friendship, partisanship, dictatorship
partnership, workmanship, starship
apprenticeship, companionship
stewardship, penmanship…
Alright that’s enough, I’m so over this ship.
I no way to thank you for all the love and care
that you have shown to me
I come in sometimes broken like a heart
sometimes with not much to say
too much into my introspective world to
come up for air
possibly too quiet for my own good and yet other times
I probably can reflect the feelings that go on -
but enough about me
and more about you being the steady rock for what seems to many years
the voice of reason
the voice of support
the shoulder to lean on
and knowledge, laughter, and a guiding light to show me the way.
You have been the amazing wind that holds up these fragile wings
the one with the compassion and the kindness that would make
any child smile and feel loved.
