A group of wealthy Billionaires
found away to a tax break by help
homeless people.
A wealthy politicain told them
to buy an old cruiseship put it
in the desert.
Create a Solar grid, create a water harvesting system
store the sewage, and hire and train guards and maitaince people
and use the place for one year as a business office and they
would allow the county to buy it and establish a new community.
The efords would provide them with tax credits and incentives.
Little known to them a group of men, stored Painite, terbium and Elaliite
and elkinstantonite in the walls of the ship. They also stored a formula to stablize francium. When these men found out the Billionaires plan they went into action to retreive there lost treasure.
From the dojo's of Malaysia comes a Superhero who takes no mess!
Tried to change my reservations.
Went to my trusty computer,
Typed in the "peterpanbus.com”
Looked for how to make the change.
Found two pages of instructions
None of which seemed helpful!
Tried to download the “app”, but
It didn’t want to download, so I tried
Calling them on the telephone.
No human answered my call, but
A robot told me to download the app!
Tried again without any success.
Found a place which told me to
Enter a written request via email.
Filled out the form they supplied.
The reply I got was (you guessed it)
Go to the computer; download the app,
Or call them on the telephone.
(Refer to lines ten and eleven),
Or go to the business office in person.
(They are 1,700 miles from me).
Looked up the phone lines again
And noted they are open until 2 PM
It was 1:05, and I got the robot again.
Today is Friday, phone lines not “open”
Again until Monday, so I have to wait
To try once again to make the change.
Then what?
When we first met
You were over the wall
If I had to talk to you
Thought for sure I’d bawl.
You weren’t there very long
Soon you were off to HR
Doing payroll was your goal
Who knows it might take you far.
A few years of that
And you wished you hadn’t roamed
Back to the business office you came
A place to call home.
On breaks we’d see each other
Cause we’re smokers you and me
In those few minutes everyday
The real you I got to see.
I called you in a crisis
You helped to calm me down
I realized in that moment
A friend I had found.
So now that you’re leaving
Going back from where you came
Remember your friend in Arizona
Wrote you a poem that’s kinda lame.
