When I let one loose in the elevator
I felt my face blushing a deep red
Never been embarrassed any greater
It wasn’t long until the smell spread
People closest to me ran for cover
In the corners where they held their noses
It would take a while for them to recover
They knew for sure I didn’t smell like roses

Embellished enchantress, cynosure bride
bubbled elixir of laughter in a frenetic tide.
Moonlight blushing, a bouquet on her face,
sequined new dress, bejeweled satin grace.
Silken rose jasmine, weaved in wedding wreath
beamed pink love, magnolia prism beneath.
Souls sipped wine, from golden pots of honey,
an exchange of garland, 'You and Me' became 'We'.*

* In Indian tradition, an exchange of garland is
one of the most important wedding ritual.

Flames Of The Evergreen
Rusty sunbelt clench
a rosette of scarlet peaks,
…puffed lipstick trees dip.
Vermilion blossoms
surface on a marooned lake,
blushing a pale shade.
Petals shed to a
subtle red, 'still in the pink',
their ardor of Spring.

Sung in the key of our love
Dancing an evening of splendor
You in my arms for a while
Lips that now beg me surrender
Blushing a euphoric smile
Melodies waft in emotions
Spinning as harmonies flow
Endless the moonlit devotions
Bound now as one in its glow
Silhouette patterns are swaying
Soft on this leaf covered floor
Lost in the twilight displaying
Choreographed evermore
Follow my heart, it is singing
Lyrics sent down from above
Now of the happiness bringing
Sung in the key of our love

We sit here together on this cliff
watching the stars shine like lost
tears of inner light.
You look at me; my eyes are
blushed with the brightness of the
dim light of the retiring sun.
I smile shyly, softly blushing a
gentle pink hidden by the weak glow.
You whisper a sweet joke, I laugh.
You watch me contentedly thinking
of nothing but the beauty of my
forgotten glow.
I feel your fingers floating over my
skin,
I feel sparks of lightning flooding my
veins with your secret emotions,
they leak through your deep,
compassionate and loving soul.
You slowly approach my face,
you reach my ear, you begin to whisper,
"Io amare voi, lei",
suddenly I find myself trapped within
your sensitive lips feeling sweetly poisoned
by your deep ocean of love and affection,
trapped within your beautiful touch of
gentle silver rain,
the rain of the forbidden truth of our
lustful minds,
lost in a galaxy of refreshing light
embraced by our hearts,
forever condemned to behold
the passion of love.

A hoary blanket lies across the ground
and the children love to be bitten in frost.
I watch the young girl purse her lips to purple
and still she enjoys the Winter bitterness.
In her fluffy pink mittens, she gathers a ball
made of crystals and dust- glowing under the sun.
And one toss becomes two or three to the boy
who eyes at her, blushing a red rush across his cheeks.
The day becomes night, and still over the hoary
blanket of Winter's bitterness, they played.
But I call in my daughter, and boy's father calls his son.
They wave good-bye, and eye to eye they gleamed.
Their young little love formed like a delicate crystal flake,
so fragile and so fun as it lasts.
And as winter goes, the snowflake melts all the way so fast.
