Tall Towers and Deep Wells

TALL TOWERS AND DEEP WELLS

My love, come and feast on my two round mountains
whose perky tops are as dark as red roses,
and that are as soft and round as marshmellows.
They stand tall and erect as a giant tower.
Thy pleasurable tongue may be plunged into this deep well
where sweet nector is a neverending supply.

Luscious and delicious there is always a supply.
So when you need satisfying, come to these mountains.
On top of these mountains you will have great access to this well
and when you slide in, it's as velvety and as soft as roses.
You spread these rose pedals with your giant tower.
I melt under your touch as toasted marshmellows.

When you eat these delicious marshmellows,
you'll surely know that I have more than a vast supply.
Your length makes me think of a tall tower
and underneath your tall tower hangs two round mountains.
They bump against my well as gently as roses
and bring rivers gushing into my sweet well.

Your tower and mountains satisfy my deep well.
It's as though I'm filled with sweet marshmellows.
As you taste and feast you will realize I smell like sweet roses.
You must give and must supply and I must give and must supply.
Just remember to always come to these high mountains
Where my well is filled with marshmellows from your tall tower

Nothing is as firm or as tall as your tower
and when you're near me you seem to gravitate to my mountains and well.
With your tower in my well you gently kiss my mountains.
My dark red rose petals swell as you explode sweet marshmellows.
There is no shortage here but a great supply.
All of this love takes place in our bed of sweet roses.

What is more fragrant than a bed of roses
or more delightful than to be gently entered by a giant tower?
Knowing your length I'm sure you would be able to supply.
There's such an awesome craving in my deep well.
And only you can supply me with sweet marshmellows.
Please fill that longing and pleasure these mountains.

Come smell these sweet roses and drink from my well.
I'll play with and taste your tower and you can feed me your marshmellows.
For you have an unending supply which you can release on my mountains.

Premium Member Of Walls And Wells

Walls too high, above the grasses I see
Walls above my eye, below the world of me
Fencing my eye, lions of grey roaring
Reaching the sky, birds of prey soaring.

Walls of lamentation are memories of war
Galls of incantation are cairns in jar
Facing the wailing walls are men of tears
Groping for simping halls are women of fears.

Walls of life, memories in time
Walks of life, melodies in rhyme
Love from wells, portrait of loving souls
Waters in wells, vignette of redeemed souls.

The Wishing Wells of Love

Timeless hearts are borne amid a myriad of collectives colourful arrays ~

Yet sometimes I do not whisper soft enough although, when I should

While being dipped in these many different hues; a world which paints

Myself a soulful muse; that I truly could be most things for all concerned....

Re-tying a ponderings bow of hopefuls moment within this wishing wells

Vision; and what is my greatest desires most perfect made dreams?!

Holding that of life; warmly and gently within these, forever loving palms

Touching everything that their beauties may feel deep inside; tenderly

Melting into their worlds emotions; both night and day; a passions ride....

Knowing that we live in a tainted and cynical place; poison for the most

In shadows left brushing wings and whom can walk away, unscathed?!

But in spite of it all there does so remain, beauty; as a soothing ointment

Pleasing aside this guiding breeze; enchanting, its reassuring melody ~

Empathy, compassion, joy, laughter, tears, pain; these beautiful eyes....

Precious and priceless and sometimes I do not whisper, soft enough!?

I set the date
Hope I am not too late
To save some souls
From chilly fate

The year of our Lord
Dial one nine, one two
From my home-based lab
After locking in-situ

A gyro spins
A crackle, a flash
I land on the deck
With a terrible crash

Oh souls that surround me
Running here and around
Never notice my vehicle
Though designed to astound

The floor is now jaunty
My breath like fresh mist
The critical moment I fear
I have missed

Make fast to the lifeboats
Although they are few
I frantically seek out
The captain and crew

"You can double the numbers.."
I cry with a shout
It's too late for they're pushing
The final boat out

I reach for my notepad
Complete these last lines
'Crisp bright morning air
Yet the darkest of times'

A note to myself
Set my machine now to 'home'
So she whirrs and she crackles
Takes instructions, alone

My vain hope is she
Meets me in an earlier state
An inventor incumbent
To change the course of this fate

Now my destiny sealed
By dark ice of the sea
As resigned I join singing;
Nearer My God to Thee

Fast forward to now
Deep-sea divers explore
The old shipwreck is claimed
By the ocean once more

Yet a mystery beckons
Cameras peer through the grime
Uncatalogued cargo
Out of luck, out of time

The Epitaph of Mr Alex Wanton Wells

He was born Alex Wanton Wells -
A healer of the incurable and a remover of spells,
Died chasing his insatiable appetite for quails;
He’s not there, for he kicked the pails!

Premium Member Wells of God's Blessings We Thank Him For

We stand by God’s well of blessings daily
As He invites us to delight in them tremendously.
There He assures us of His eternal loving presence wondrously
With His providence and protection indeed covering us truly…
Thus, we thank Him with glad praises* constantly!

We draw living waters from God’s well of salvation**
Whenever we lose our joy because of pride and transgression.
There we remember Christ’s sacrificial work for our regeneration
With His bruises and wounds for our forgiveness and justification…
Thus, we thank Him with worshipful jubilation!

We stay freely at God’s well of contentment
As He welcomes us to His satisfying replenishment.
There He comforts our souls, so weary from worldly entertainment
With His caring instruction and admonition that cure envy’s ailment…
Thus, we thank Him with earnest commitment!

We desire to get near God’s well of revival
Whenever we’re discouraged with our earthly survival.
There He empowers us to cling to Him for His approval
With His strength and might to prepare us for Christ’s arrival…
Thus, we thank Him with firm confidence of doubts’ removal!

We rest beside God’s well of peace and calmness
As He greets us after labouring in His kingdom’s business.
There He offers to us triumph’s sweetness in fellowship’s closeness
With His compliments and rewards for our faithfulness…
Thus, we thank Him with sincere humbleness!***

*Psalm 92:1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High.

Wells Fargo Man

I wrote this poem at 2 am last night when I couldn't sleep. I enjoyed writing it
immensely and I'd love to see someone sing it to the tune of Wells Fargo Wagon
from The Music Man and put it on You Tube :)

Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-comin’ down the street
You see he’s comin’ round just to get my home
Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-comin’ down the street,
You see he’s comin’ cause I can’t pay my loan.

Oh please Wells Fargo man my husband died last year
Oh, please can’t you see it upset us awfully
He worked while I stayed home so that’s what I hear
Is the reason we’re in trouble financially.

Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-comin’ down the street
And he’s coming round just to take my property.
Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-comin’ down the street
He’s gonna take it and he doesn’t care who’ll see.

You see, Wells Fargo man I’m trying to sell my home
While you try to scare me with that word—foreclosure.
Now, your bank won’t lend out money from bad loans
While your hands are grippin’ your money tighter.

Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-comin’ down the street
And he’s comin' just to take my land from me
Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-comin’ down the street
Just to sell my land for his own greed you see.

Oh, Mr. Wells Fargo man you were nice so long ago
You signed our loan and you used your diamond pen.
Now you say we’re three months over due, uh oh.
Yeah, you were so nice, remember, way back when?

Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-comin’ down the street
He’s comin' round just to put that note on my door
Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-comin’ down the street
And he doesn’t want to hear from me any more.

I see him comin' down our street with a glint in his eye
He’s plannin' how much he’ll get for sellin’ our home
But Wells Fargo man, we’re not even gonna let you try
You see, you gotta listen to the endin’ of this poem.

Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-runnin’ down the street
You see, he’s runnin' as fast as his dressy shoes can go
Uh oh, the Wells Fargo man is a-runnin’ down the street
My dog, Killer’s, after his ass while we enjoy the show.

Penny Drops Into Wishing Wells

Penny drops into wishing wells,
A coin flipped freefall through the dim,
Streaming trails of wishes behind
Beckoning streaks of luck begin.

Joy mounts and rides the saddled coin,
Penny drops into wishing wells.
Happy laughter follows behind
The sound, she landed in the deep.

The tiniest sacrifices
Are made for peace of mind, and heart.
Penny drops into wishing wells
By lovers of faith, hope, and dream.

Does luck reside within the coin?
Or somehow in the well it stays?
Released by sending flying free
Penny drops into wishing wells.

Sophie Wells

Sophie has been around animals all her life,
‘Cos her dad’s a farmer and she loves horses,
She was born on the 5th day of May in 1990,
With no nerve feeling in her fingers or feet.

Lincoln England graced her and she became,
A grade IV classification Paralympian rider,
Which is for people with less affective disabilities,
Although she has won non-disabled events.

At the Euros in Norway she bagged three golds,
In 2009, and at the Equestrian Worlds in 2010,
She won two more golds: individual, freestyle,
Such that she qualified for 2012’s Paralympics.

There she won gold in the team championship,
And a silver for the championship test grade IV,
And another silver for the very creative freestyle,
So she was given the MBE for equestrianism.

In 2013 at the Euros, Denmark, she won golds,
Three of them, and at 2014’s Worlds, Normandy,
She won one team gold and two more silvers,
For the individual and yet again for the freestyle.

The Euros 2015 in Deauville in France and alas,
Sophie won team gold, two silvers, same events,
So in Rio she boldly claimed the individual gold,
On her horse Valerius who proudly celebrated.

Forbidden Wells

Echoed pealing of far-off bells

chases thoughts that swirl somewhere else,

                                                        each mile,

                                                       worthwhile,

thirst is slaked at forbidden wells.

Wishing Wells

I keep throwing dimes an nickles in wells,

you would laugh if I were to tell,

so I'll hold the key and I'll never sell,

Just like when you hold my heart in your hand,

It makes me melt just watching you stand,

sometimes I even pretend in my daydreams

that you were sent to rescue me,

like some kind of prince charming,

Or some hero in fairy tale.

oh and when you look back my way its so easy

For me to forget what I needed to say

I know its going to be okay

and tonight will be just great

And while I'm still wondering, still thinking

how can this be that this river runs so deep

that you say your always going to be so in love with me

while time passes by so fast 3 years celebrated

a love intertwined was meant to last.

I no longer need to throw dimes and nickles in wells,

so here's the key ask me and I may reveal

all my desires and hidden secrets
