Marriage: a Meeting of the Minds

marriage is a partnership and you both will come to find
that communication is basis when it comes to a meeting of the minds
Trevor be kind to Zetoria and support her in every aspect in life
she's the one that God sent to you, your soulmate, your wife
Zetoria be patient with Trevor as men have such sensitive souls
and in all things work with him and let your husband thinks he's in control

It takes two to tango, it takes two to make it right
remember you're both disciples of Christ and on you both He shines His light
talk to each other and always be open-minded to what each other has to say
it might not always be what you want to hear so on it don't forget to pray
marriage that institution that God put into place
a meeting of the minds full of His mercy, wisdom and grace

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary
To You
You is a god damned fool
You is his wealth garden tool
A dumb ass ho
You is a god damned fool
You is his wealth garden tool
Happy Anniversary
To You.

A Sapphire Wedding Anniversary - Especially For Audrey and Wally

In a beautiful garden long, long ago
Creator God made a man
Man on his own alone was only half the plan
So Creator God made him a woman
And that is how it all began
In a garden called Eden

Way, way down in time
Creator God made a Wally
Wally on his own was only half the plan
So Creator God made him an Audrey
And that is how it all began
In a place called New Zealand

When Wally met Audrey
Creator God smiled down
For in finding Audrey, he had unearthed his treasure
What Creator God had planned for his pleasure
And when Audrey became his wife
Creator God's favour flowed in his life.

Audrey made them a happy home
Filled with blessings from Heaven's Throne
She, her husband's crown, worth far more than jewels
Wove into their Life Loom sunlight, flowers and colors
Skillfully, prudently, carefully reading the pattern
Making their home to others a lantern.

Creator God blessed this man and wife
With children and wonderful grand-children
One to play sweet music, one to act in the play
And all to share love, fun and laughter
To glory Creator God, their Master.

And to them on a warm, clear Sapphire Auckland evening
We gather together to say
We wish you now a very special Wedding Anniversary today
Looking forward to another Golden Morning
When we can wish you again,
May you have many more years together under the sun
To cherish every special moment
Since Creator God made you both one!

Conflict of the Heart

Conflict of the Heart
                    By Dane Smith-Johnsen

From whence comes constant conflict, from within?
You and I would never call love a sin.
Prayers prayed; what shall be our destination?
I felt it, the Spirit’s confirmation.
The message, loud and clear; marry Ingrid.
Safe, comfortable in your arms, my heart hid.
Marriage license bought and commitments made.
Dreams about the future carefully stayed.
Trust given, and with no reservation.
Joy grew beyond one’s imagination.
There, with you, fears of the world subsided.
Peacefulness within my soul abided.
God’s loving gift had been in my heart laid.
The gratitude felt couldn’t be repaid.
Yes, I do remember that God is kind.
Yet, life’s eternal mate was hard to find.
Love, twisted in a vine, finally found.
The fragrant fruit burst forth; free love unbound.
Adoration, a present deep within,
Fulfilled empty places could be no sin.
Exuberating hopes burst forth each day.
Dreams engulf all reason; some say we’re gay.
There, before me in splendour you stand tall.
Love for you, hermaphrodite, shall not fall.
Despite the glaring stare that some folks give
Together, we’ll press forward, just to live.
Please look upon the good, withhold your darts.
And pray, dear friend, that hatred soon departs.
Judgement assumes its toll upon the soul.
Subsided inner conflict is love’s gold.
We’ll ask God to lift conflict from within
To help us gain respect from thoughtless men.
So let the peace begin with open hearts.
For that is where pure love taught by Christ starts.

            AMEN

Falling For You

Falling for You
I made a wish to God one night
I prayed with all my may, I wished with all my might
That my first falling star to be seen with whomever
Would be the “one” I was to be with forever
That night came with you and I couldn’t believe
Surely God was mistaken on what we agreed
For that night whom I was with was my best friend
Could this really someday be my husband?
Never again did I see falling stars around anyone but you
Surely by the third one I knew, god was trying to give me a clue
I started this relationship to see if it was worthwhile
And can’t believe here today we’re walking down the aisle
All we have now starting from a wish and a prayer
All our love we have for each other cannot compare
Forever and always we’ll be together, I love you with all of my heart
I’ll prove that to you today as we say… till death do us part.
Thank you god for hearing my prayers and coming through
I’ll vow my love to him forever and say I Do.

On Marriage Dedciated To Terry and Dawn Toliver

To love unselfishly is not an easy task,
It teaches us to form a bond of hope and helps a relationship to last.
On this special day I wish you all the joy that true love can bring,
Growing in a God fearing love that never ends.
Know that the essence of love is not what you think, do , or can provide,
But it's how much you give releasing all the love inside.
Know that to love means giving up money and energy for the benefit of someone else,
It's when you concentrate on another and forget about yourself.
Hard times will follow bringing pain with tears,
But when you lean on each other and have faith in God you learn to conquer your fears.
Stay strong in the Lord for He shall see you through,
Bringing out this love that feels to good to be true.
I pray God has sent you both to one another making love your greatest aim,
Forming a love so bold and strong that's worth more than material things.
May God continue to bless you both in these years to come,
Because in my heart you both are the lucky ones.

Re-Start

Re-start

You came one day
I loved your stay
And the sweet way

You took my heart
Ah, Cupid's dart!
And love did start.

A lifetime “play”
And I must say
That love does pay.

You drove my heart
Gave a jump-start.
Filled my love cart.

But then one day
You went away
What could I say?

I kneel to pray
And God did say
Some leave that way.

We got divorced.
No fight of course.
Hidden remorse.

Time to restart.
And mend this heart.
Oh, work of art.

The day love came.
True love drew pain.
I'm not the same.

Your hurt was vile.
But I can smile.
And dream with style.

New love has grown.
There is no moan.
I'm not alone.

Re-Start

Dedicated to my one and only Soul-mate.
Who along with God lifted me through the pain.
And then, true love remained. Forever.

' ... Your Answer '

I Want to be Your Answer…
That God Sent to Your Prayer
I Want to be That Woman-Wonder
 By Your Side Forever, There

I Want to be Your Helper
I Want to be Your Friend
and Passionate, Perfect Lover
and Love You Straight to … Amen

I Will Always Respect You
I Will Make Sure Others Do Too
They will Know, ‘I Show’… its ‘Us’-Two
God, Brought and Bound, Brand-New

I Want to Bring You Peace
I Want to Add to Your Power
This Honor to You, Will Never Cease
Thru Each Eternal – Year, Day, Hour

Every Moment, I Want to Share My Joy
I Want to Lift You in Every Way
‘Cause, You Are ‘ The Man ‘ and not a Boy…
You Have The Right to Lead… ‘ O K !’

… and in All the Sparkles, Which I Speak of…
… I Want to be Your Rainbow-Dove
I Want to Be Your Own-True-Love
That God Sent You… From Above

… and if Questioned – ‘Do You Believe in Happily-Ever-after?...”
… I Want to be … Your Answer

Promises of the Heart

they took the time to share their thoughts, all judgements cast aside,
god gave them wisdom to look past their faults, for what matters is what lies inside,
it's what drew their hearts together, in beauty they found each other,
and when they realized god placed something genuine there, they knew there would never
be another,
he touched her heart in so many ways, she couldn't imagine her life without him in it,
she never met a man with such affection and love, overwhelmed by his giving spirit,
she noticed his stare and the look in his eyes, she felt this connection within,
everynight before she went to sleep, she knelt down to pray for him,
she knew one day god would bless her, with this wonderful man by her side,
so she placed this love at the foot of the cross, and out of pure happiness, she cried,
god spoke to her heart, and filled her spirit, and revealed to her he was the one,
for she knew this love was meant to be, before it had even begun,
in spring it sprang into being,
in fall she fell down on her knees,
to thank god for the blessings he bestowed on her life, that slowly came to be,
her empty heart is full once again, she pictured this for her future,
for the bride now entering the house of the lord, she knew you picked him for her,
she promises with all of her heart, she made a covenent before the lord,
she can't wait to share her spirit with this man, all her feelings that were locked up and
stored,
god kept them stored away, to come out at just the right time,
for what now was mine belongs to you, and what's yours can now be mine,
they share one heart, intertwined as one, made and molded by god's hand,
and they will walk together as one body and one spirit until the very end.
