Best Visionaryself Poems

Premium Member Volunteerism

When one gets so self absorbed with earning a living,
one tends to forget the virtue of giving
freely of one's self to benefit others in need.
The return one receives from such selfless deeds
are far greater than could ever be attained with money.
I volunteer my services and time absolutely free
in whatever manner I can, in whatever capacity.
Many of they I help go on to help others eventually.
In my humble opinion, such a way of living could replace money easily,
and oh what a wondrous world this would be.
One can not pursue greed monetarily
in a society that openly volunteers freely.

First Meeting

Enabled Both Belong -Sonnet XXXI

Each gaze received excites the senses for,
where equal passions infiltrate romance
for something that the eyes cannot ignore,
with reason turning round, a second glance.
To turn with such despondency as hope,
would wish upon the grace of one so nice
before she oust my sight of one to mope,
the smile would fair elope as one entice.
How close a word or two enabled both,
to ease the self control from self belief
another hurdle leapt for sudden growth
appears as one of confidence - relief.
It happens to appear to linger long,
creating more an eye-full to belong.

Acceptance by Default - for Sonnet XXXII

An image that presents itself as her,
is worth to mention more than those around
and said to be more sequel than the blur
for hesitation has it - a surround.
To chase would least encourage her denial.
a hand to woo significance I feel,
would hasten it not long before the while
has passed, for my discretion is for real.
Invite has been provided by default,
when miniscule acceptance by annoint
could no return be shared than both resort,
be happiest to chase than disappoint?
For motion has been moved for the lament
has stabilised it calm for more content.

Breaking Ice -Sonnet XXXIII

At ease we two approach the time of day,
like any known acceptance could define,
be worth the hold of eye, than to delay:
attraction is but nonchalant design.
To murmour an appeal has always gained.
as merely with procedure, had it moved-
towards the idle chatter, self restrained,
far casual than perfecting mimes improved,
with stark surprise a rose is well explained.
With silence, should a subtle drink of wine,
be chosen to instill fermenting gained,
such treasures are disclosed as this divine
At least a pact be made, and what a find?
To take that giant leap with you for kind.

Astronautic Dream

From the nest of newness and modern discovery
Materials that proclaim a new technology
It is only diamond, now nano-thin, beyond fire's
Wrath, and winter's whisper of cold desire
The thing nothing can change or destroy, at last
A turtle dome equipped that into space will blast

Dilated at rest, infinitesimal in motion's swift
Transition without resistance, or drag, the lift
Spontaneous reaction from each part to part
And I the hologram ... captain and console chart
Ready to cross the wormhole of galaxies, light
Like a static comet, and time eclipsed with delight

Did ever Ezekiel saw such a beast, or dream wake
Upon bright Da Vinci's brain, or NASA's genius make
Such craft so self contained, a city without man
Where loneliness ends before its thought began
For only holograms are carried there into space
To chart the new frontier of the human race

And we beholding ourselves in glory, by beholding
Change, and meet and merge the singular becoming
Through the spiral back before time began or space
Did all our memory of eternity so inefficiently erased
Each diamond quark a colony of self supporting strings
The little ship of light that man's immortality brings.

The Turning

A child casting his spells
He needs to win, he needs me to quell
The self-control that must now resist
The need for her, the need to exist

A world of lust breaking my mind
My heart would die to follow design
The scars alone could chart this abyss
But now alone, defining why to exist

A room of self reflecting my pain
To stand alone and resist all their games
Although it’s said this can not be truth
This sense of self is defining the proof

A universe within my dreams
Connecting life and counting the seeds
Reflecting stars reminding my soul
The seeds I count will be more able to grow

The shadows calling my name
The more I see, the more that it pains
The universe lighting my eyes
The more I see, the more that I find

And so I dream between dark and light
The answers come and patience ignites
The narrow path waiting for truth
The dark exists, this light is the proof
