Down-Light

halting-stars we are, aching
                              for the vastness of space,
                              that lonely-only place
                              where heat-beats swell
on the edge of night -

here we are sun~bending
                               toward a red-ochre sky,
                               a gnarled branch,
                               and bony-finger reach
                               for a cloudy-whirl,
                               white on blue,
                               all the while curling-roots 'round
                               stones of earth,
                               star-imbued mud
                               for sipping nameless
                               elements of course -

we lurch in wind, whimper for the climb,
                               make leaf-song,
                               slow-swelling from Sun
                               drenched dirt,
                               the blood of longing serpents-up,
                               from deeper whirl'ds-turn'd
                               where harder-roots have
                                                              sunk

into the electron-cloud where numinous-valences are allowed,
                                which are inspired to arise,
                                such that lead becomes gold
                                glowing as a singular-sight,
                                vortex'd through Quantum tunnels
that make your body bright -

just another rapturous transmutation
                                        of matter into light

Hallowed Ground Bleeds

The prideful passion practiced and prolonged in fertile life,
Rejects all calls to wasted whimsy in this willful world.
Aware redundancies occur with suffering and strife
Some still display with honor our great nation's flag unfurled.

There's glory in the glory of a greater guarantee,
Described in dedications made by immigrants of old
Who's longing for a little more of bright-light liberty
Was shared in perfect passion by the patriotic bold.

And we begin each year with brand new challenges to face
With seismic salutation to grand stories yet untold
When even greater gifts of glory bind the human race
Where beauty of such brotherhood shines bright upon the fold.

To timelessness of spirit add the courage to engage
As part of all our sisters and our brothers standing strong
Against those evil tyrants who run empires filled with rage
We fight with every ounce of might ingrained within our song.

We sing the songs and serenades to lift our fighting soul,
Symbolic of our heroes and the hallowed ground that bleeds
With blood of men and women who have died but are made whole
When heaven's golden warriors cast down perfect planting seeds.

Oh glory to this nation and the citizens who dwell
Within her borders beautiful together unified.
As tyranny has tyrants tethered deep inside their hell
So freedom spawning liberty has mankind glorified.

Let's take the steps we need to make all eulogies in war
As rare as any politician's honesty is rare.
Then hopefully the populus will soon learn to adore
An evolution revolution men of peace can wear.

Will She Stop

You watch while she watches your eyes follow
She tease with every move
Long hair draped around her shoulders
A smile that says she does not care
The sight is pulling you near

Most drop to your feet
She will turn your game to hers
She is not the innocent prey
Your pulse is like a drum
A longing a want

Timeless pleasure is within
You hide the fire inside the desire
Craved nakedness that swallows your thought
Silence of silence is drowning
Increased beat of your heart

All of mystery she sits and stares
Her smile is sutle but there
The want in her eyes likes cats gazing
Legs crossed the slightest skin bare
Ticking of the clock will she stop...

Greed

There lies in the center,
  Of each man’s heart.
A longing for love;
  Something new to start.

It will never be filled,
  It will never overflow.
It will never have a seed,
  For something good to grow.

When he gets what he desires,
  To the world he implores.
He is already wanting,
  And wishing for more.

He craves what he can’t have,
And gets what he doesn’t need.
He hoards earthly pleasures,
  Solely out of mere, greed.
