Greed

There lies in the center, Of each man’s heart. A longing for love; Something new to start. It will never be filled, It will never overflow. It will never have a seed, For something good to grow. When he gets what he desires, To the world he implores. He is already wanting, And wishing for more. He craves what he can’t have, And gets what he doesn’t need. He hoards earthly pleasures, Solely out of mere, greed.
