In the realm of battles waged by fate,
Where heroes rise and villains bait,
There dwells a force, unconquerable, vast,
A nemesis, whose shadow is cast.

With nefarious intent, it seeks to harm,
An archenemy, a symbol of alarm.
It weaves its web of darkness deep,
Inflicting punishment vengefully does creep.

No hero can escape its relentless grip.
It thrives on conflicts, which none can skip.
A generic motivation, it lacks,
Driven only by the thrill of attacks

Its hubris knows no bounds; it knows no shame.
It believes it is beyond any blame.
But in the realm of battles, there lies a truth
Hubris and nemesis are intertwined, as wisdom and youth.

The nemesis, with its cunning ways,
Lures hubris into a treacherous maze.
It tempts the ego, fuels the fire,
Until the hubris burns, consumed by desire,

In the face of adversity, heroes must stand tall.
To face the nemesis and conquer it all.
But beware oh brave ones, of the hubris within.
For it blinds the wise, leading to their own sin.

In the realm of battles waged by fate,
Where heroes rise and villains bait,
There dwells a force, unconquerable, vast,
A nemesis, whose shadow is cast.

With nefarious intent, it seeks to harm,
An archenemy, a symbol of alarm.
But through perseverance and strength of will,
The heroes rise, and versus all odds, they fulfill

They learn from the past, the mistakes they've made,
And with newfound wisdom, they start to evade.

A Look Inside

I came as an unaffected statue
Halloween depiction depicting everything
vaguely-leaving margins for misinterpretations
like hieroglyphics deciphered by illiterates
scawling crayon scratch book reports

Walk in these shoes
Feel the pavement scrape through openings worn through souls
and feel the contours of the Earth ravaging
           ~merciless~
Take the reigns of this chariot
rambling around on undiscernable tracks often
backwards-hobbling humbly
numbly picking up pieces from a patchwork jigsaw
picture possesing voids in the most beautiful places

Climb this tree and know the shaky footfall limbs
sprawl like weeping willow tendrils on my fathers branch
bare and abandoned like locusts came, fed, and fled
watch the forest flourish and realize
this tree is flawed yet resilient
rooted in the strength of adversity

Stethoscope this heart and enjoy the offbeat beat
thumping in uneven peak and valley arrythmia
loving deeply and loved shallow, coldly
berating every executioner who killed
my adoration quotient with dull unfeeling axes
Leaving tides turned, churning me to hurt
Vengefully....Senselessly
Leaving no paths passing me passively
~~passion is my blessing and curse

A Mothers Love

a mothers love is stronger than all and she knows her daughter better than all
a mothers love is never bitter and never vengefully
a mothers love is always kind and there no matter what you do
a mothers love is forever a bond between a girl and her mother is always a strong on but it gets stronger as they grow up and it gets even stronger as the girl moves away calls and calls then less and less.... then you worried about the bond but no worries that's a bond that cant be broken nor replaced

Storms

Storms

Bleak blacken storm clouds fast approaching,
Nature is angrily panting and fuming.
Self-righteously and passionately enraged,
the growing tempest now dominates center stage.
Dark and moody quite Machiavellian,
gusty strong winds start blasting in open rebellion;
and no sane human being dares to challenge this wrathful defiant hellion.

As furious Thor wields mighty Mjölnir, his fearsome hammer,
heat and cold energies collide in a turbulent manner.
Amid roaring thunder, vivid silver streaks of lightning, and heavy precipitation,
terrified, we cautiously peep through the shutters in utter fascination;
as winds smash and torrential rains pour, we stare at the frenzied destruction.
The storm has effortlessly uprooted skyscraper trees,
vengefully knocking towering buildings down to their very knees.

What an awful frightening sight!
When storms rage with all their might,
only Noah’s Ark would survive such a devastating plight.
Like a snail, time moves slowly when storms are around,
intent on wreaking havoc, they will firmly stand their ground.
But once nature’s energies and pent-up anger thankfully subsides,
storms will pass, and at last, we can safely venture outside.

Wolfman Falls In Love

The moon glistened with pride
Burning thru a blackened sky
The world oblivious to his stride
Upright, all fours, n back
Panting n snorting like distorted dogs in a hunt ahead the pack
The light flickering thru the trees
Closing in like an enviable attack til claws greet a trunk with a razor like clasp
The window show no mercy
Showing the night the extent in inches from head to everything
Eyes forward like a predator planning
Claws tightly grasping the trunk, scratching
Her body was flawless
Something like a goddess
Eyes slashing thru the dead night, watching ominously certain
Fur rising to a ward off stance while hiding
Thinking about today in the square when they both were hands clasped together feelings arising
Heart then then fluttering with joy but now
Pounding
Pounding from grief
The beast n man mixture cease to look upon his beauty
His shaggy mittens with embedded talons
Snatched away what hands could do for he
Snarling
Drooling
Fangs protruding
Anger polluted his head
Grief thru his veins like the wolf gene that now shows that the beast is outta seclusion
Giant rhythms of a beating, breaking heart still moving
His vision taunts him with sights
While senses r heightened n smelling that scent of her he likes
Sorrow fills the wells of his eyes
Hidden in the black of night
He turns to shun her outta his life
For she'll never Love the beast, just the man inside
N he can't Love her becuz of the fright of a sight
Waking up, bloody mess, her body dismembered
From left to right
He stares vengefully at the moon howling his protest
For the unnatural has trumped over one of lifes greatest conquest........to travel damned n alone.....a merciless fate untold.......Peace

Lost .

Lost, are becoming the possibilities of
– as swords strike vengefully at the soul of
– as knifes, painfully pierce the fragile heart of
– as words of mass destruction blow up all hopes of
– as all the above has added to the putrefying, decaying of
– as they all dissolve ( like acid )away, leaving nothing left of
what might have been acceptable, and in time might
have become rays of hope, curing all, in the, suns light
dissipating the shadows that haunt the darkness of night,
your worlds, from the past, that create all your strife,
leaving so very little left, for expressing, and living life.

I realize, that in all your frustration and pain,
the only way to feel strong, stand tall and gain
is to dump on others parades, with a deluge of rain,
that upon them, leaving your mark, will be a stain
for all to see, to believe, and that belief to maintain,
as you sing your dirges to them, to me, to all you refrain.

Born into a privileged position
The Gracchi and Kennedys were on a mission
A violent end was to be their common fate
With vested interests full of rage and hate
Their new programmes threatened the status quo
And prompted the dealing of the killer blow
Centuries apart, they both wanted reform
Championing the poor brought to them great harm

If the Gracchi's progressive plans were to win the day
The senate felt its power would pass away
Land reform and franchise extension the ruling class could not tolerate
They feared the concilium plebis would carry too much weight
Allowing tribuni plebis to gain too much power
Crucial steps were needed by the senate at this critical hour
Violent deaths turned out to be the Gracchi's lot
The people lost what they had sought

History is oft claimed to be repetitive
The Kennedys' careers were closely imitative

A crackdown on crime and improving civil rights
Panicked those who opposed such fights
Where the Kennedys heralded an era of hope
Those under threat from this programme could not cope
Their death warrants were signed for what they stood
Both were gunned down vengefully in cold blood

In each instance when their hopes died
Politics rode roughshod over the people's pride
A brighter future for those in need of care
Was ended by vested interests' callous warfare

Scars Before Scarlet

?Art thou turned away at the door-
Thy pilgrim journey cursed with misadventure?
Doth goodness against thee shy like the mimosa?
Is thine head bowed that thou canst not name the stars?

Seest thou thine maker a foe?
Dost thou vengefully His breast stab with hateful sin?
Art thou at sea in thy tears without an oar?
Waitest thou for His voice to call thee out upon the waters with Him?

Thou passion flower, grace-forsaken
Smothered by sunshine, poisoned by rain
Thou whom no bee findeth worthy to weave a love poem
But the grasshoppers that seeketh thee in the garden.

This way knoweth the stars that shine above
And every man praised a demi-god on fair pages
That the lamb's story is greatest that escaped the pack of wolves
Knoweth thee not the path to Beulah is hades?

Thou art inexcusable O child of destiny!
Arise thou feeble soul and lit thy cold torch
O matador! There rages no bull in the ring but thee
Those voices in thine head I bid thee hush.

Behold now with glee as the princes drape thee with scarlet
Thy body full of scars before came gold in great talents
Remember no man ever on the summit was seen
That never in the vale had not sang the song of the fallen.

The Gloom of October

Autumnal Gloom

Sorrowful October, rain hangs in the air to mean to fall
a murky joker without a sense of humour, I don`t care whether it rains or not,
it is just the persistent greyness makes my beard white,
my hand's thin so many rivers look like Bangladesh overrun by the stateless.
People born in October tend to be mournful, with the sudden outburst of ire.
Intemperate, I blame the weather, vengefully jealous of others success,
it is not the October`s child`s fault; it had two choices winter or summer,
but was pushed into late autumn, forsaken by god and man.
The rain didn`t fall, blew westerly and the afternoon sun was helpful.

Curse of Harmattan

The icy talons of nature
Claw for my soul
Leaving my body
A broken home

First, my sense of smell
Then, my power of speech.
Left distraught I was,
Incapable of roaming the earth

Wreaking havoc vengefully,
The dust of the earth did
Slither into my nostrils
And down my spine

And like gods against a man
The frost of stars fallen
And that which man was born of
Came with the curse of harmattan
