Ballad
November! When the auburn autumn leaves
retard the tinkling brooks of Vallombrosa,
and kitchen chimneys draw the old ones closer:
when timid fieldmice nestle in the eaves
and oaken chests give up our longer sleeves,
and finer fabrics cede the game to grosser:
we close John Grisham, open Vargas LLosa:
Orion rises, and Arcturus grieves.
But sometimes there’s a gracious interlude.
Though winter waits offstage with all its lines
word-perfect, still a kind of summer shines.
The breeze feels older now, of muted mood,
not so disposed to boast its vital signs,
inclined to amble through the golden vines.

Sonnet
/'d???g?l/ /'d??s.t?s/
That was what my dictionary
woke up to show me this morning,
Who made you one of this angels?
One is called /'d???g?l/ jungle and the other is called /'d??s.t?s/ justice like a league of legend ants feasting on a lonely trapped Carcass and Vargas.
Who made you a judge over criminals?
Light opens...
Our stories are gory to the ear,
If I decide to write them now
I fear my sight will become blurry
with tinted tears of mourning.
Mount your camera on a tripod,
Double your steps and hands
We have a story to make to the world.
Yells of vengeance has torn my belly!
Light fades...
Yesterday,
The first sight I beheld in the morning
Was a boy trying to free himself from
Gullible mobs in the street of Lagos.
Tears flooded his eyes as he pleaded,
His name became a political lyrics,
Lyrically, he was branded with metals;
Metals that took away his miserable life.
Light fades...
His body became a shadow finding home, running, walking and jumping.
He burnt into ashes as they lynched him
The petrol broke apart and tyre belched
Another soul roamed among the living
Inviting the eclipse sun in the noon.
His beauty washed away by the restless grief that held his bones together to bind
Light fades...
Capture the ghost of that girl running!
She was knocked down this morning
by a drunk driver finding ways to die
Capture her spirit and let's edit them all
The mobs Wont see how she died but they will linger to kill without thinking,
Who made them a judge by the way?
Remember, don't leave the ghost tears.
Light fades...
Now, follow that soul seated there?
She was one of the victims of Evan.
Have you seen her tears turned red?
Cut away of her legs must be filmed,
Clean up her face with your focus!
We're like the castaway treated like a plague, the house whose door has been stolen and we never knew until now!
Light fades...
What is your time?
we have Chelsea march by ten &
this deads may find home in the
air for the living to see how Arsenal
will be defeated in stampford to night
Tilt the camera up & see God' eyes
He watches from above about this
And he spoke not of it, then, who
made us a judge over all this crimes?
Yours Poetically,

Blank verse
We were born to offer
each other our own plates
of suffering wounds.
No poultice will do.
Crying is out. Marriage also out-
each with our own insecurities and stubbornness -
two mules going down the same narrow path.
Money weighs heavily like bricks
in your jean pockets
so you must throw it in the air
and see where it lands.
Your home looks like Circus Vargas
equipped with a pretty girl spinning plates,
clowns making balloon animals,
and two acrobats teetering above
on a thin wire without a net.
I protest as loudly and as often
as wailing babies prevalent
in the bloody air of a local park
in Peoria, Arizona.

Legacy of good name*
blest by the Lord since birth
shines through functional roles
midst triumphant milestones
propelled along love's might
reigning despite fake news.
With such verse, I present this name for our learning:
L.…. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva became the first president of Brazil
elected to three terms and the first since Getúlio Vargas to serve in non-
consecutive terms. He is also the first candidate to unseat an incumbent
president. He was sworn in on 1 January 2023.
U…..Ultimate in his commitments are the reconstruction of the
country in the face of the economic crisis; democracy, sovereignty and
peace; economic development and stability; fighting poverty; education;
implementation of a National System of Culture and the expansion of
housing programs.
L….. List of his international honours and awards included the
UNESCO Félix Houphouët-Boigny Peace Prize in 2008; meanwhile in 2012
he received Four Freedoms Award.
A…..Although he has his losses like his pinkie finger at age 17 in a
machinery accident, his reputation because of corruption scandals and
controversy, he can still choose to win by faith when he trusts the
Almighty God** Who is the Source of salvation-triumph and eternal life's
victory.
*Proverbs 22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
**1Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, [be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Dramatic Verse
In the 1950’s we thought we were so modern, so sophisticated, so posh.
When Barbie came out, she was the rage, and we little girls thought we were ready by gosh.
Goodbye Vargas pinup girls, good bye hoop skirts, and Betty Boop. Some of us would confer.
A 1950’s art peek might amaze you as to how into space travel we were.
The ones who were in style so to speak, we decorated with abstracts, big and bold.
Moms carefully steered clear of the nature colors of our grandmothers, they seemed way too old.
These colors came back into style about twenty years ago, full force and all.
To jog your memory bank, look at the ads of your childhood. They are a wake up call.

Vincent Schiavelli was tall, he stood six feet six.
He starred in Batman Returns and in other flicks.
He was in Valmont and One flew over the cuckoo's nest.
He died the day after Christmas of 2005 and was laid to rest.
His role in Ghost earned him critical acclaim.
When this man died, it was a damn shame.
He also played MR. Vargas in Fast times at Ridgemont High.
Many people were sad when they were forced to say goodbye.
(DEDICATED TO VINCENT SCHIAVELLI WHO DIED DECEMBER 26, 2005.)

I cannot tell if the woman is reaching for the crescent moon
Or letting the moon loose, back into the sky
My imagination needs nothing prettier to see tonight
She is a goddess, shaped like a Vargas queen.
The kind of model we saw half clad in the forties
It matters not what she is doing
I cannot take my eyes off her
She is the most beautiful vision in the sky tonight

In the heart of the forgotten place,
whispers an echo in the twilight and the haze,
earns the legend of Vargas Vega Naga,
the serpent of wisdom, its mystical embrace.
Scales of emerald shimmer under moonlight '
everence.
A solitary creature, wise as patience
and ancient as the night.
Its venom, a potent elixir of secrets,
flowing through veins that sigh in decadence cadence.
A smoke that fills it's line.
In inherent repose, tells tales,
signs language to the ears, the nose, the eyes in vivid magics stirring of the blood
that covers sins and of the price.
As the sun paints the horizon in King Crimson and Eldorado Gold.
Vargas Vega Naga begins its wistful dance.
Coiling with grace, weaving dreams untold,
awakening spirits in a spirited trance
that channels the soul's Thunderbird
giving wing, entrance, for the Eternal Chance.
Through eyes like windows to eternity,
the serpent beholds the yearnings of souls.
A conduit between realms of reality,
a guide on the path where the heart unfolds.
Oh, seeker of truth, enchantments await,
in the realm of Vargas Vega Naga's domain,
imbibe the elixir, let it resonate.
Be forever transformed by its arcane_implicate.
Amidst the whispers of twilight's embrace,
in the heart of a forgotten village's lore,
Vargas Vega Naga's wisdom finds its rightful place,
in constellat bow before Christ, The Lord.
Taking it's place next to the four living creatures at his throne.
A witness and harbinger, stormbringer
at the Ancient ones feet, on his Jasper floor.
Evoking emotions as Universal Sentinel,
stirring souls thunderings and heroic imaginations
evermore.

Ballad
We could have boobs in the 50’s and 60’s
We could have a nice round bottom.
We could be Vargas girls, on our way to being
Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield.
That all changed in the wave of a twig.
Twiggy.
Skinnier than most twigs actually.
Svelte on its way to starvation.
She became the “new it girl”, the new look.
Karen Carpenter had never felt so fat.
She developed anorexia, which killed her.
Musical genius, now dead.
I blame that twig – Twiggy
And her manager
And those so-called glamour girls.
I prefer Vargas girls any old day.
