Resurrections lone fallen spiritual being, kneeling within the darkness of mine
Own tormented soul, broken, fractured at fetters ivory appendages, a flightless
Angelic Dark winged angel standing alone, weeping in the nights blackened clouds of utter blindness, a disarmed shield maiden of heavens grace!
Seeking the lightning storms final thrust of thunders rapture, my burnt scorched
Feathers descend cascading downwards, as melting leaves captured in the
Autumn winds of betrayals flame of the sinful heart, left unsheathed!
Virtue’s innocence lies slain in the battlefield of mercy’s shamed, shattered
Is the core of faith’s fragile child, lost amongst the hailing hurricane,
Battered and bruised, the white dove soars beyond clarity’s grasp!
Biting tears clash against the bare exposed flesh, stinging with malice’s
Hatred, as the face of God shuns this black fleeced lamb, whom broke
The vows promise, and interfered in the world of man!
Banished daughter of the light, unable to capture the winds of flight,
Transcendences none descendant trapped by the loving spirit
Willing to help the mortal being, begging for mercy’s compliance!
Yet shadowed by the dark illusions of the hastening storm of
Ignorance, she shed forgiveness tears on behalf of the unworthy,
For in the night humanities brethren turn away from the hungry,
Homeless, and the lost children that huddle within the darkness!
Thin are the clouds separation, as the storms rage begins to abate
Gods anger grows to the point of understandings loving, the grates
Of heaven casts shafts of grace, weakened by the hailing wake,
The lamb is unable to move amongst the silences eye of the hurricane!
Ever gently is lowered the cradle, the rocking crib of the healing
Miracle set at the flash points ushering of forgiveness, for the Shepard
Has reclaimed that which was lost!
In chorus spiritual assembly a small figure sings with heights
Reverence’s praise, and the master of the divine smiles
Upon this child of light, for her voice shines above all others,
For she is the fallen, now arisen with the wings
Of the outcastes singed!

Unsheathed Sword

Oh ...I will not! ...see you ...left... crepuscular ones!
though I turn my eyes away from your visceral hungry-ed movements, your quests
to be fed in shadows, the babied darkness on ink tip of night ...upon which you suckle
I do not, I will not, witness your skulking muscular moves with sonorous cellular revulsion...
NO! I will dissolve your desultory moroseness with this transcendent blade
So opulent and exuberant is THIS...unsheathed light!
Oh You, like the Halcyon...nesting in your only twilight...only one night ...are you too cynical for any other day or time? ...and filled with jealousy ...like the penumbra?
neither fully dark nor fully light...your painful "shades of...gray"
will simply milk away ... when shielded by loves might

"O, Lord, make my enemies ridiculous.
And God granted it. . . Voltaire

I grew up Ojibwe in a pure white world,
my long black hair was straight and never curled;
    and I was bullied bad,
    inside it made me mad!
Then one day I unsheathed my sharp sword,
all the hurt and the sadness within poured;
this brave warrior would not be ignored!
    My rapier bloody,
    I had not one buddy;
    my time was all study.
There was no time to wallow in pity,
       it was a bloodstained battle not pretty;
my only friend was with a black kitty.
Yes, I grew up Ojibwe in a pure white world.

My soul became blood-soaked from the fierce war,
the haters returning again for more;
    I knew how to evade,
    and to parry my blade!
The bullies were relentless and savage,
my true essence they wanted to ravage;
I waded a brutal battle to salvage,
    this shy Objibwe girl.
On pages of white my words twirl,
    with my sword pen words I swirl;
you see, I studied hard and my sword is words,
I thrust them out but they fly away birds.
A pen was the weapon I used on those nerds!
Still, my soul is blood-soaked from that fierce war.

A quote by Micky Mantle
"A gang is where a coward goes to hide."

arms spread the deceit
confusion reign truth scolded
false words spit the beast

Critic's Pen Unsheathed

Sword brashly drawn from scabbard
Gilded blade with a lucent polish lathered
Burnished to reflect the availing light on each side gathered
Conversely, deflecting the pious streams pharisaically blathered

Weapon-grade mind steeled to cut through the broad discourse
Sharp point piercing each tangled, silken strand; puncturing each uncorroborated source
Serrated edges slashing through the syntactical pulp so coarse
Double-edged blade mincing then scoring lexicon that generational divide did divorce

Vaunted crest advertising noble intentions
Brittle helmet to repel callous, vain repetitions
Dense breast plate to ensnare all heartless pretensions
Luminescent shield to deflect all trite inventions

An Unsheathed Dagger

The tear cut across the page
It's cry pierced the silence
Then another
Bitterness in each hand, finger
Finally
Parts left of a veiled note, about me
contents opened for me, for me
Anger lacing the uneven edges

Betrayal had danced upon the lines
Taunting
Across the page, each line was a stab
Into my back

A cold-eyed girl with a blunt sword
Of hurtful words
and
A fair-skinned girl with a shining shield
That broke
Both stand by my side, but one drifts away
Wrote those nettles of words
Each momentarily paralyzed me
Tranquialized
Until the end

Undecisive
was I
Wether to scream in mocking anger
Or cry, betrayal
But realization surfaced
Cold eyes belong in dark depths
Away from the light, the innocent

Forgiveness was a smile of the past
A sweet thing, it was
But time itself had been another chance
After the many millions

A sheen of frigid ice settled
My heart
A silent flame burned away
My tears
I could have shed
But by now I was someone else
Someone filled with hate,
Pride

The new sheet I pulled out
Was clean
And my stiff words of truth
Spilled onto it's white innocence
and
Tainted it with darkness
Tainted it with poison
The poison of the words I held back
For decades

Unsheathed

Coaxed from its vile sheath
To appease the voices from beneath

An instrument of unruly malice
A weapon as wise as it is callous

No fool shall get past it
Only those with wit

Only Those who are wise
Who Learn not by their eyes

Only they stand a chance
They who hold their stance

Do not flinch do not waver
Unless its death you savor
